All I said was that Fuente wasn't likely to be fired here because he's won everywhere he's been. If that sounds like an "AGENDA " to you, you're every bit as stupid as the liberal media.
Did you know he lost to UT Martin early at Memphis? Yes, Memphis was not in good shape, but losing to UT Martin is rough. He inherited some good players from Larry Porter, and those players developed in year three. Bottom line is that recruiting is his question mark. His success is from development as opposed to recruiting high level players.
But Norvell is now winning with the players Fuente recruited so wouldn't that mean that Fuente can recruit too?

I know that Nick Saban lost to ULM at Alabama. And I know that Phil Fulmer lost to Wyoming at UT. I would personally consider those to be just as bad as losing to Martin while at Memphis. JMO.

What about losing to UK in 2011 under Dooley? That was probably the most embarrassing moment I ever experienced as a fan. No excuse for losing to Joker Phillips.
Talent level was still closer between the two teams but ultimately that game came down to the players not wanting to play anymore under Dooley. They threw that game.Against UK, we lost to a WR that was playing QB. At least Wyoming actually had a QB that was healthy at the time. They're both pretty awful memories regardless.
Not claiming to be an insider by any means, but I spoke with someone close to the union football program today. He said as it stands today, he thinks Mitchell ends up with the good guys. He said after his last visit, he didn't know what Tennessee had fed Mitchell, but it worked. Said his attitude toward Tennessee had changed and this guy believes he ends up signing with us. Obviously a long way until signing day, but at least a little good news here.
