Dad is up and working in his office. Mom is just tired and snotty. No respiratory issues other than a mild cough. I think they are on the mend.

With hind sight I’d make the same decision.
Turns out the shot….so far….has no worse side effects than the disease itself. I get that’s not what you want to hear but everyone needs to be aware and if you had Covid you need to get checked out for the side effects.
There’s actually new data showing those who had prolonged symptoms are the people most in danger of clotting and sudden death. (That one is still in review but something to keep an eye on. )

Prayers work wonders. Sometimes prayers guide us to good decisions. Given the number of times I have cheated death....I absolutely believe both in the power of prayer, and divine providence.

Do you mind sharing the regiment they are on for treating it? Also how they tested positive and when? As this new strain comes out I would love to hear more details.... this is literally the first case I'm aware of from any people I talk to. More knowledge is power.

This is absolutely a rediculous decision by the CDC. And to those arguing for the safety of the vaccine how do you defend the numbers below.

According to V-Safe data accessed by the advocacy Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) in September 2022, out of the 10.1 million users who reported on the platform, 3.53 million people claimed to have been adversely “impacted” by the vaccination.

While 1.2 million reported that they were “unable” to conduct normal activities, 1.3 million missed school/work, and 800,000 required medical care.

In total, 6.45 million health impacts were reported to V-Safe.

The problem is that isn’t how vaccines work. If the person immunocompromised got the shot then the other person shouldn’t have to. It’s basic stuff if you ignored Fauci and others that were making stuff up as they went.

I never claimed that I always go with long term data. I make decisions based on available information. So did you. It’s ok if your decision was different than mine as each situation is fact dependent.
There is no 100% correct answer for everyone.
In fact Vs the first waves of the virus the vaccine absolutely saved lives of those who had compromised immune systems.

Let me go ahead and address your next objection

0.4 mg? is that what is recomended now? I remember I was taking 35mg a day at one point (this was by script I never self medicated this) , then they changed that to 35mg twice a week not to be taken twice in 48 hours. It was my understanding it needed to be a large dose for some amount of time to be effective. Thus the twice a week vs lesser amount daily.

Not questioning that amount, rather for my own knowledge want to genuinely know what is recommended for best results now.....it seems like recommended dosage has changed a lot over time.
