She was mainly complaining about healthcare professionals that were fueling some of the self medicating that is going on.
Good Lord…. The heck if I know how she treats Covid. I’m in the insurance business lol. Obviously you’re dying to pounce here, but I have no desire to debate. I hope the drug works.Self-medicating is not a good idea seeing as how, like most drugs, it is dose-dependent and easily prescribed via telemedicine. And, in that proper context, it is unbelievably effective. As in, effective beyond belief. Know how I know? I am basically married to a Pulmonary doctor that is the only doctor in her group that prescribes Ivermectin on the reg as early as possible that hasn't lost a single patient. There is no reason to self-prescribe and I question how often that occurs to even be a topic for discussion. How does she treat COVID?

I’m fine. You're paranoid. You commented and I commented. I asked a simple question regarding a physician that you know and she apparently doesn't know her A-hole from her elbow. But, that's most of them. If you ever get COVID and she recommends the vent, you might want to find someone more knowledgeable in this space.
That sounds like a reasonable take. Any healthcare professional actually fueling self medication should get slapped down hard. I hinted at that once with my doctor on a very minor thing which I didn’t even know required a script. After the ass chewing he gave me he encouraged me to check with him in the future on anything that might or might not require a script. She was mainly complaining about healthcare professionals that were fueling some of the self medicating that is going on. Said them and Facebook were wrecking a legitimate medication and everybody needed to calm down and let some research happen.
The naturally immune needing to get the vaccine argument isnt consistent.Yes I’m being serious. That is absolutely the argument that’s being made but some and it’s stupid. They are free to do what they want, just be honest with yourself in the decision making process.
And logically the vaccine as a therapeutic gets us to endemic faster. Herd immunity isn’t happening.
Edit: and as a footnote the article that everyone is touting also recommended that those who have natural immunity should get the vaccine. Talk about not reading your sources and just posting a headline
Again…..Not arguing the validity of the article. Not arguing the conclusion. My issues is with the chicken little crowd using it to argue getting the virus to prevent getting the virus is better than getting the vaccine to prevent getting the virus. If that’s not your argument then there’s no need to talk about it.The naturally immune needing to get the vaccine argument isnt consistent.
That same article lists the protection as follows from least to most.
0. No exposure what so ever.
1. Vaccine
2. Naturally acquired immunity
3. Naturally acquired plus vaccine
Makes sense that group 0 needs something, they are the lowest of the low. If you want them protected why not wait for #2, so that you are on your way to three?
Group 1 needs nothing, because science?
Group 2 needs the added protection of group 1, but group 1 doent need the added protection that group 2 has?
If 3 is the best and is the recommended for 2, why isnt it recommended for 1 as well? Especially if the protection from 1 relatively guarantees extremely low risk?
If group 1 is "allowed" to not get to level 3 why isnt group 2?
There is no consistency. It's all about compliance.
I think you have the tail wagging the dog here. One of my biggest questions is are the vaccinated being the major carriers and spreaders to the unvaccinated while they themselves have a level of protection from the virus. Is it a coincidence that all of these spikes we are seeing coincide with the push to get everybody vaccinated? Why all of the sudden surges in cases? Does the next spike and push for lockdowns come after 60% of the population gets the booster shot? Are the majority of you guys seriously ok with this kind of government control and segregation?
Honolulu restaurants, bars, and other businesses to start vaccine passport program on Sept. 13
It's not my argument. It's also not an argument I have seen presented here.Again…..Not arguing the validity of the article. Not arguing the conclusion. If anything it smacks me as another semantics argument designed to redirect the conversation. A red herring if you will.
Now sure there are probably a sizable number of idiots who believe it, its 2021. But we hardly need to argue every dumb argument with a following.
Somebody posted a David French article yesterday that probably talks about this or at least would give you a good idea of why he got fired.I’m not getting why he would have been fired?
Daniel Darling: My prayer for Christian unity after I was fired
NRB spokesman Dan Darling fired after pro-vaccine statements on 'Morning Joe'
Can you point us to those arguments? It seemed like you were totally dismissing the study based on a straw man argument you created. The study is very much important to those of us who already got the virus and are being treated like second class citizens.then you’re not paying attention
And that’s ok. It’s not your argument so nothing to discuss
