More than 9 in 10 Democrats SAY they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 compared to 68% of Independents and 56% of Republicans, poll finds

Americans who identify as Democrats are far more likely to be vaccinated against COVID-19 than people affiliated with other political parties, a new poll finds.

The survey, which was conducted by Gallup, found that nine in 10 Democrats say they are fully vaccinated.

Comparatively, just two-thirds of Independents and half of Republicans report having received their Covid shots.

Ain't a big fan, they usually have no mask. We can still transmit and I, personally, have a high risk individual living with me. I would feel horrid knowing that I brought the virus home after taking all the precautions and this person passed away with that. That's why I have problems. We got vaccinated to go to school here in the south, and now it's a independence thing? I didn't have that when I got the shots before going to school. Mom told me, you getting these, and that's it. End of story. Maybe this country boy here still remembers, you help your neighbor, you pull over and help change a tire, you pay that extra dollar for the person in front of you that couldn't afford it. I guess my "Old Days" are different then most. Guess I think a simple thing to help someone isn't a attack on my freedom. It's just being nice to someone that is dealing with things different than me.

But if you and your high risk person are vaccinated what does it matter? Asking someone to take a vaccine they don’t need isn’t being very neighborly.

I guess you don't understand the concept of HIGH RISK!! They might have the vaccine, but they have a compromised immune system. It could be from birth, diabetes, allergy. So, you tryna keep on, cause I can all night?

You don’t have to. Sounds like YOU and whoever need to take much more drastic measures and not everyone else.

Uh, I mean with disease it is. You ever heard about smallpox and the vaccine? Do you even understand or you one of them knuckle-draggers? So, did you get the chicken-pox vaccine or did you protest that at the age of 5? You are seriously taking up air smarter people should have.

I seriously have a friend that just gave up second row concert tickets, backstage passes, and a meet and greet for a concert by his wife's favorite artist. When I asked him why, he said it would be "literally retarded" to go breathe 17,000 unvaccinated people's air. They are both fully vaccinated.

The fear is real.
