I too think there has to life out there and probably intelligent life. If there is a civilization out there advanced enough to travel to earth we’d be screwed.

There is intelligent life out there. The chances that there isn't, is a very small number given the amount stars and galaxies that exist. It's easy to say it's not possible because none of us can process the vastness of the universe. Does that mean we will ever encounter them? Not necessarily. But it's more than possible and we might as well accept it as a real possibility. If they come here, we better hope they have laws in place to leave lesser intelligence alone, otherwise, we are effed. Lol.

More than they're given credit for. They do a hell of a lot better at providing source links and trail marking than many of the favorite sites cited there religiously.

I wouldn't use them as a secondary source, but their reputation is based more on fear mongering than reality.
