Vaccine or not?

Is Pfizer distributing two different vaccine formulas?

Edit: if they are, do you know the difference and why?

Yes, for sure. Actually, I am still trying to determine if Comirnaty is available anywhere. I have a message in with a good Pharmacist.

The wording and difference is sneaky. It's a LEGAL difference, which still absolves BioNTech of liability.

"During May–November 2021, case and hospitalization rates were highest among persons who were unvaccinated without a previous diagnosis. Before Delta became the predominant variant in June, case rates were higher among persons who survived a previous infection than persons who were vaccinated alone. By early October, persons who survived a previous infection had lower case rates than persons who were vaccinated alone."
This is straight from the CDC latest study involving California and New York. Hospitalization rates followed case rates.

Still not sure what your gripe is. Natural immunity should always be a consideration. Saying someone doesn’t have it for a weaker variant might be an argument but so is realizing the vaccines being pushed don’t work either. Nobody has said a person couldn’t be infected multiple times.
My gripe is that I’m in a real world fight that’s been brewing for years so I’m in a very pissy mood. Combine that with the fact that I’m over the all or nothing approach that both sides of the debate are showing in this thread, and complete it with my misreading your post while thinking about how to deal with the first thing I mentioned.

I really don’t understand how you got confused.

Just confirmed with a district mgr with one of the largest pharmacy chains in the US that theirs are all BioNTech. No Comirnaty anywhere.

Which is completely irrelevant to anyone for any reason

If you’ve never had Covid the natural immunity vs vaccine does not apply to you
If you’ve had Covid then how the vaccine works on people who never had Covid compared to you is once again irrelevant information.
It’s a stupid Fing argument.

now, if you want to compare Nature immunity alone vs natural immunity plus the vaccine then that might actually be useful information. But nobody is actually doing that.

Natural immunity is irrelevant to the Omni variant.
My unvaccinated very healthy 26 year old has Covid right now …..for the 2nd time. My unvaccinated neighbor has it for the 3rd time. The vaccine doesn’t work vs this variant and neither does natural immunity. According to Mayo but what do they know.
Could also be the flu with a false positive.

If you have had Covid and do not want to be vaccinated; it is relevant. Personally, I don't think the added benefit of vaccination to my natural immunity is worth the unknown risks. I am not against people that need it getting vaccinated: but there are a lot of people not in that group.

I’m not like Mad who has the all or nothing approach and most people I know and associate with aren’t either. I’m all for people doing what they feel is best for them whether that’s taking a vaccine or not.

To the bold. The only comparison that helps you is Natural immunity VS natural immunity plus the vaccine. Natural immunity vs the vaccine alone is irrelevant.

To the rest, you’re absolutely within your rights to make whatever decision you think is best for you. My point is only that decisions should be based on factors that actually apply to the situation you are in. I’ve run a business for a long time. One of the things I do is mentor younger contractors. It’s amazing how often the average person doesn’t properly evaluate data properly.

I misunderstood you earlier. Now I believe you misunderstood me. My last statement was a semi-joke. There’s no possible way you could have understood why I reacted the way I did unless you could read my mind when I misread your first post. I’m the one who is pissed tonight and it has nothing to do with this conversation. But this thread is absolutely covered up with the all or nothing and it’s one reason I don’t usually post in here anymore. The echo can be irritating
