LOL, that's actually funny. If you read the article, it actually makes a very strong case for natural immunity.

Studies do show that when people survive COVID, many of them develop robust immunity against reinfection or serious disease. Sometimes that immunity is stronger than vaccine-induced immunity, depending on the person and the degree of vaccination.

Unfortunate, but this is a problem with generalizing with a deadly disease... It doesn't affect everyone the same was... If a world-class tennis player gets it and recovers without trouble (for instance) that doesn't necessarily mean the same will be true for a 57 year old lady.

That goes for pretty much any disease ever. But for some reason this one has to be treated differently.

Getting this crap at work, too. So, in order to keep everyone safe, schools are telling sick kids they have to get out and go to an office around other people for the EXACT SAME TEST that is available at home.

I'd like to note that that particular stupidity is present in other parts of the world too. We had to go pay a nurse to give my wife a rapid test that we could've bought at the pharmacy before her other test today. Hilarious.

My unvaccinated very healthy 26 year old has Covid right now …..for the 2nd time. My unvaccinated neighbor has it for the 3rd time. The vaccine doesn’t work vs this variant and neither does natural immunity. According to Mayo but what do they know.

I wasn’t arguing variants. If nothing works against omnicron I’m not sure what you’re arguing. How does everyone know the variant they’re infected with?

The bajillion dollar question. The idiots at the CDC butchered their estimates around omicron. The truth is nobody actually knows unless they go get their illness sequenced and nobody is doing that.

Still not sure what your gripe is. Natural immunity should always be a consideration. Saying someone doesn’t have it for a weaker variant might be an argument but so is realizing the vaccines being pushed don’t work either. Nobody has said a person couldn’t be infected multiple times.
