This is a unique situation where the govt coerced companies to behave one way and you also seemed to have companies in particular industries that went out of their way to collude or work together to advance a lot of these policies. I have no problem carving out an exception being made when it comes to fascism or corporatism.

My wife still has the audio from Dr refusing him food...convos with admin etc. She has probably 1000 pages of stuff and looked into filing suit on my MIL behalf...my wife and kids are just broken. They spent every sat and then sun afternoon between church services at her parents house for all my kids lives. Now he is gone and it wrecks her family. It has taken a great toll on all of us honestly.

We are blessed. I would not have made it through what I witnessed without Reb. We only stay broken for so long.

Businesses can set policies for their employees. No employee HAS to work there. Someone can’t understand simple voluntary agreements.

I agree with Hog’s position. As much as I despise those executive teams and business owners who required the vaccine as a term of employment, i think it is any company’s right to do so.

However, i believe for any person who took the shot to fulfill that requirement of employment, the business should be liable for any negative consequence from taking the vaccine.

I know of a few people who lost their job because of corporate mandates and a few others who took only because they had families to feed. The whole thing disgusts me, and I hope nothing but the worst for the people who made the requirements and refused exemptions.

I am fine with them in this case. The reality is the "rights" of the business should not trump the rights of other people. Vaccine mandates did just that, especially the way they were rolled out.

Just based on national security, look at the negative impact that these mandates have had on air travel/transportation and medical stability/preparedness? Also, you mention term of employment... when all of these people were hired on these jobs, was a mandatory emergency authorized experimental vaccine to be expected as a condition of employment? Or is that not an extreme measure given that this was a novel virus with a vaccine of unknown long term side effects? Again, businesses do not have rights. They can't (or should not be allowed) to just change the rules in the middle of the game that has such an impact on the lives and ability to earn a living of employees.

I asked my wife and she didn't remember our ped even bringing it up last visit. My own Dr did once, I told him I appreciated the advice but wasn't interested and he dropped it. Hasn't mentioned it again. Both are part of the large med group here in town

That should have been done in the summer of 2020. I give almost everyone a pass for the first few months when it was extremely confusing. The fact we're still dealing with it is unbelievable

The exact same thing is coming out around antidepressants. Big Pharma insisted (and undoubtedly supported falsified studies to help their case) that depression is caused by low levels of serotonin ("chemical imbalance"). Long term studies have just been released proving that is NOT the case.

Pharmaceutical companies knew this and pushed drugs targeting that cause anyway. And we have all seen the side effects of "chemical imbalance"-targeting antidepressants (several mass shooters that have hit the mainstream news have been on them!).

I have zero trust in the pharmaceutical industry and anyone that trusted them over mRNA vaccines is a fool.

Pretty much all mass shooters have had one thing in common: They were either on an anti-depressant, or they were on a pain killer. These drugs can turn some people into mind numb killers.

Absolutely agree. A couple of our clients pressed it's vendors to require our employees to be vaccinated but none ever made it a hard requirement which I'm thankful for. I was not looking forward to having to make those decisions.

SSRIs turn most people that take them into robots. It's heartbreaking that people are told by doctors to get over depression by using drugs to shut off their emotions. They so frequently aren't told to do things like find support groups; get to church; exercise; eat right. It's sick.

If they arent filed as sole proprietorships the owners dont see it as an extension of themselves.

The owners dont face taxes an individual would. They dont face legal requirements an individual would. The owners dont list the business's assets as their own. Claim the workers on their taxes, and usually act as an employee of the business. That's definitely a distinction from the individual liberties.

Business owners dont lose any of their rights if a business is not considered a person. They just choose to operate their business in a manner where they dont want to be classified as an individual. You want the benefits but not the responsibility.

The moment a business owner files for liability protections is the moment several of their "rights" should be forfeit.
