Vaccine or not?

  • Published July 1, 2020Updated Sept. 22, 2021
In Queens, the borough with the most coronavirus cases and the fewest hospital beds per capita, hundreds of patients languished in understaffed wards, often unwatched by nurses or doctors. Some died after removing oxygen masks to go to the bathroom.
In hospitals in impoverished neighborhoods around the boroughs, some critically ill patients were put on ventilator machines lacking key settings, and others pleaded for experimental drugs, only to be told that there were none available.
It was another story at the private medical centers in Manhattan, which have billions of dollars in endowments and cater largely to wealthy people with insurance. Patients there got access to heart-lung bypass machines and specialized drugs like remdesivir, even as those in the city’s community hospitals were denied more basic treatments like continuous dialysis.
All ventilators have the same settings, ecmo was ruled out for use in covid pts as the lungs were fibrinous and non compliant and only a lung transplant would help, when we stopped using hcq and went to remdesivir more died. CRRT or chronic renal replacement therapy only helps clear the blood of contaminants and fluid. It does nothing for lungs that have no compliance.
You keep posting this same article as proof and it’s full of misinformation.

Our discussion was about ventilator usage in September 2021 and I posted a graph of it
COVID-19 Hospital Data - Intubation and ventilator use in the hospital by week and the
reason you see my post more than once is because different people ask me the same
questions over and over and over

My profession was a medical records specialist and I made sure that every T was crossed and
every i dotted, your focus was on the legal aspects of records, hospital stats, of course
you had to study anatomy and physiology and disease, but I hated it so I went into
Real Estate and retail.

Actually it wasn’t about ventilator usage in September 2021… and the fact that you still don’t understand that is maddening.
"She came in here and literally said “vaccine or ventilator, your choice”. It was and still is 100% bullsh**."
That is what was said, so I posted a graph of ventilator usage in September of 2021....
I do not come over here unless I get an alert, so if you do not want me to post graphs or what ever
then do not alert me

You skipped over the whole 800 dead people per day in New York thing. I can’t tell if you’re intentionally or unintentionally this obtuse.

Your profession was a government shill. You have no medical education.

Feel free to respond "because you get an alert". You sound like a great receptionist, but I give zero f's about your opinion on respiratory viruses.

In New York when 800 people were dying a day was more towards the beginning of the epidemic say April of 2020
And yet you posted your ignorant ventilator comment in September 2021… with the reason being that 800 people were dying per day in NY… which was patently false as it was closer to 10-15 per day by that point. Have you connected the dots yet?

I’m done arguing with you… it was an ignorant comment to begin with under any circumstances and then you somehow managed to give an even dumber reason for why you made that ignorant comment. You’re doubling down. If you can’t admit that, then that’s on you.

Ignorance truly is bliss. I see that more every day. Have a good one.

You do not know what you are talking about, why did I have to take a state board and get a license? You study anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, Hospital
stats, and legality and then take a state board and issued a license, then you have to do internships in different hospitals and medical facilities every week for a year.

Ventilator usage peaked in September 2021, and I do not want to post the graph again

I replied directly to another article you posted 3 times. It’s full of disinformation which I pointed out according to my knowledge base but you failed to address any point I made and moved onto a topic I hadn’t even mentioned.
As to your post about being a medical records specialist, I say hi to the medical records person every morning as he is copying the charts. I’m not sure what all that job entails so I can’t really speak to it.
I took A&P, microbiology, chemistry, pharmacology and all the courses that are needed to become a registered nurse. I’ve also been in critical care for 16 years now.
It is ok to say “I don’t know how a ventilator works, I can’t explain how a virus or mRNA therapy affects the body, I’ve read something and I don’t understand it.” It is perfectly legit to admit that and seek understanding. It is why I followed a respiratory therapist and learned about VDR ventilators, I didn’t know enough.

People here are full of knowledge. I don’t speak on economics authoritatively because it’s definitely not my thing. I don’t speak on war authoritatively because it’s not my wheelhouse. I read more than I post.

I would think this whole thing with you and your statements blew up because you spoke authoritatively on shots with someone else’s knowledge (or lack of it) via articles and made some incorrect assumptions and then failed to acknowledge any of it by being dismissive of questioning. Saying next is dismissive and condescending. That’s why nobody uses it.

If there is anything I have learned about life and VNPF if you throw your opinion on the public floor for debate you may get responses you expected and some you don’t. Be as prepared to answer as you are to make a statement or you can continue what you are doing. Either way I don’t mind, you seem like a concerned person from your post history. Glad the shots worked out for you.

What are PersianVol’s thoughts on this stuff? He always seems to give an honest assessment.

You commented that saying the word "Next" was dismissive and condescending, well it was very mild compared to how there was name calling and derogatory remarks hurled at me, and I was
meaning move on to the next question, I was done with the derogatory remarks and name calling. So before we get on a tangent about the word "Next", lets look back at the previous post
where I was called names, had derogatory remarks made about me, I stayed on subject, and who followed the codes of conduct in here? Anyway congratulations on your youngest being accepted
to PA school, that is a Great accomplishment.
