Fwiw… each pt coming to the unit got a rapid covid and respiratory viral panel at 5 different institutions. The rvp tested for 14 different respiratory viruses. After March of 2020 not 1 positive flu result for 2 years. Given previous years stats it is statistically impossible for this to happen.

There’s no data because it didn’t exist due to distancing and hand washing. (Those things are not sustainable in reality. The number of influenza test sold did not decrease during Covid. They were not throwing them away. I was tested for influenza multiple times during the “pandemic”.

Also, you throw around this conspiracy slur like there is no reason for it to be present. Yet, when you have incident from just 2 days ago, how can you blame people from wondering WTF is really going on?

There are others here who are familiar with the “wtf?” Medical situation I have going. My internal med dr is an independent and she works well with my specialist who are at Vanderbilt.

And you know me better than to think I’m a blind follower.

We’ve got a potential serious flu problem this year likely caused by the lockdowns that never should have happened.
Interesting that the problem State by state is worse where they did the most in the way of lockdowns.

The flu vaccine doesn’t cover everything
The Covid vaccine has the same protection problem.

The pandemic is over.
Get the vaccine.
Don’t get the vaccine.
Either way move on with your life.
