Vaccine or not?

Can't stop laughing at the anti-vaxxers. Everyone went nuts when I said the Republicans will be hurt by the increased death rate and that if they were going to stick with that position they would find their base shrinking. Evidently that is already showing up.

Excess Death Rates for Republicans and Democrats During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The research shows that Republican death rates from Covid are 78% higher than Dems.

Please right wingers keep refusing the jab. And by the way if you guys are taking medical advice from Naomi Wolf, you are freaking crazy.

Republicans skew much older than Dems. Old people have been more affected. That wasn't considered.

The vax/unvax death rate spread was much higher in Spring/Summer 2021 than now. Vax not nearly as effective now. You are drawing on old data from 18 months ago to draw conclusions about dying in future...

A) That study is a fine example of the garbage research we have seen since the beginning of the pandemic. A good reaearch study sets out to prove the negative (null hypothesis). This study literally states they are setting out to confirm what other studies were leaning towards. They had a predetermined goal. That is bias. Second, they do not control the populations. Do we know the age co-morbidities or even the sex (read the supplement) to ensure that both groups were otherwise similar and and that the true difference was party/vaccination status? The answer is no. For all we know, the young healthy vaccinated female democrats were less likely to die than sick fat 90yo male unvaccinated Republican.
B) Yale is ACTUALLY mandating the bivalent booster regardless of the provided link to a Naomi Wolf article about it.

Joe musta missed the Ravens player with a drug problem who died in a crack house whose death was insinuated to be because of the vax

Or 400+ pound Tony Siragusa

Or 400+ pound Caleb Swanigan

Or the Stanford goalie who died suddenly (later revealed to be suicide)

Or overweight guys in late 30s who have a heart attack

Or a hockey player who has lengthy history of strokes having another stroke

Now, @WBO seeming to take joy in it is taking it to a whole other ugly level...
I think you all are missing that I'm not talking about any of that, but I responded to a post on here. I'll say again, show me a republican, woute them or call them out, on here who is telling Democrats to die, and I will respond the same way I did to wbo. He's the one that related Republican as anti vaccine, he's the one who said Republican people should keep refusing the vaccine and due, and I've seen the same from a couple of more on that side. Bringing up news stories is out of context to what is being talked about, I was responding to a poster, not fox news. Not being smart to you or slice, just saying I've not seen a republican say that here. Call them out, woute them, and I'll respond the same as I did to wbo

I equate that because that's what wbo did, I was responding to his claim of it. I've seen plenty on the republican side saying the vaccine has caused deaths, but I've not seen one here say anything like "keep taking the vaccine and dying" like what he did. I have no opinion on equating anything, it was a direct response to what he said. Again, maybe I just haven't seen a republican say "keep dying", but I have wbo, and others from the left make statements. I'd gladly call the republican pathetic if you'd tell me who said it, or quote them. I'll go back to my first comment, plenty of ignorance on both sides, but on here, I've only seen the guts on the left make comments like wbo did. I'll admit, I don't read this daily, so I may have missed it, but I'd gladly call the republican person pathetic if they have wished for death on Democrats because they believe different.
Then you’re closing your eyes to it.
There are pathetic people at a high level on both sides of this.

Would you mind linking the actual data demonstrating benefits to school or college-aged individuals? Please include an explanation for why the older staff and faculty should be exempt. Don't forget to reference the Pfizer EUA paper that shows the risk of myocarditis exceeding prevented hospitalizations in young people.

Oh I agree, and even said as much in the first thing you quoted from me. I was talking about here though, I've only seen one side wish for others to die. I know in social media, the news, etc that there's idiot Republicans.

Again, the celebration of death in this thread has been shameful.
And considering this is an antivac echo chamber…….

That’s your choice and right in a free society
Celebrating the death of people who you disagree with is just sad and pathetic
I'm not celebrating anything. I'm pointing out that many of those Republicans who did not get vaccinated did so for political ideology reasons ... which cost them their life.

No it does not prevent infection. Your leaders lied to you. Follow the actual, updated science

So by this reasoning, since seatbelts don't prevent every automobile death (or injury), they don't prevent any automobile death (or injury). You're a regular Aristotle.

If more people wearing seatbelts were dying than those who weren't would you still tout their efficacy?

What if there was a chance that your seat belt would suddenly tighten and affect your heart function or might even kill you? Still buckling up like a good little lamb?

Of course the seat belt comparison is idiotic and has been since the start of this scam. There are certain groups who may benefit from the vax but most won't. The stats show losing weight and moving to a healthy lifestyle would be even more beneficial for the vast majority of Americans

Inane arguments like this are probably why you spend more time here than in a courtroom.
First lesson of the internet is never believe someone's stated profession, even moreso if that's a key part of their identity. I'd bet money neither of the prominent people in this thread claiming to be lawyers actually are. More likely they're foagies from a generation that thinks being a lawyer is a badge of authoritative honor.

Less trusted than used car sales men and that Prince from Nigeria.

I'm still waiting Prince N'dogolu N'damakongolu to get back to me. My mom told me we had some African somewhere in the bloodline so I really believed him when he emailed me.
I think everyone has some African in their bloodline. Request he send you a scarf like Nancy has.
