Vaccine or not?

Fascinating. Lightning hits one player, and already the lawyers are circling to sue for that potential lightning strike.

It's a collision sport and THEY KNOW THE RISKS. There is infinitely more chance of getting brain damage and yet there they are day after day..... I don't feel the least bit sorry for them anymore.

My take is if I can't get there safely, then the people I'm relieving can't leave safely either. No sense in risking everyone's life, especially in TN, because there is not a damn soul here that knows how to drive in the snow.
One of the things I am so looking forward to when I retire is watching when it snows and the world loses it's mind. I'll just make another cup of coffee and enjoy the day. Maybe go out and shoot something or make another batch of 'shine.

I’ve never tested positive.
I’d be willing to bet that I’ve had it multiple times.
I had it once that I know of in Dec 2020. I had a cold last fall. At least I think it was a cold. Could have been FauciFlu though. I didn't test for it because I don't care. What's more, who knows what's on those swabs that you are supposed to tickle your brain stem with. (which I never did... I blew my nose and swabbed it in the Kleenex).

I’ve never been sick enough with flu/Covid symptoms to justify going in for a test. But I’ve self tested plenty of times because of work stuff. Never tested positive.
We were in Florida over Christmas with my brothers family fishing for 2 weeks he tested positive for Covid the day they got home. He was sick but nothing worse than a bad cold. His wife and 2 kids all tested positive and had mild symptoms. once again, nobody here tested positive except one of my adult sons who had to test to go back to work. He had zero symptoms but had a positive test so had to work from home.
This thing is over. It’s like the flu now. If you’re feeling sick stay home. If not, go about your life.

I think the point here is that maybe this wasn't a lightning strike. It would be relatively easy and inexpensive (in pro sports money terms) to rescreen players for CV changes after the shot.

I have been hearing reports from Europe for over a year about soccer players dying or having CV events. This one hits home.

In European soccer there were as many of these cardiac arrest instances on the field this last year as there were in the couple decades or more before.

You are really a pathetic individual. I don't know any of us that aren't 'vaxxed' that wish for your death. Get some mental help.
He's actually mentally ill. It's apparent.

I may be mean and grouchy and call people names in irritation but I can't remember a time I told anyone I hoped they were dead.

I've seen those posts, I just wish there was a credible report in a peer-reviewed publication.

NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement (only a couple of years ago ratified) does call for annual physical including EKG/Echo....

NBA has been including this in their annual physicals for past 15 years or so...

*Edit - MLS and NHL does as well each year. Unsure about MLB. Obviously, the cynic in me knows this is for legal reasons and ways to get out of bad contracts...
