Who cares? Vandy has beaten UT twice in the 25 years I've been alive. Every sports writer has an opinion, but it doesn't mean it's right or wrong. Making a thread about it on Vol Nation is just going to please Vandy fans even more.

when is the last time tenn won 9 games. yes as of right now vandy has passed us. doesn't mean jones can't catch them next year. i wouldn't want to put money on it. would probably be 50 50 and pickem.

Yep. I think near year's game will be a pick'em at best, though we at least are playing at home.

Really wish Bray and Hunter and CP were sticking around. For that matter I wish their big receiver Mathews had declared for the draft instead of coming back for his senior year.

Just checking the rosters and we return 28 of 44 from our two deep, while Vandy returns 33 of 44. And they have a transfer 5th year senior QB who started 2 years at Wyoming compared to our situation of have virtually no experience at the position.

The 3 highly rated freshmen that left the team should have been fighting for a place on the 2 deep. We all need to hold our breath and hope none of the current guys flunk out or get into trouble between now and the start of the 2013 season.

Not to be all negative though, because we have one of the most loaded and deep junior classes in a while. If those guys stick together the next 2 years the foundation could be laid for our rightful return to the top half of the SECe.

This schedule argument might work if they didn't beat us. Ole Miss and MSU are probably a push and Alabama is way better than Auburn. No one knew the depths of suckage Auburn was in when the season began. We will always play Bama so why complain about it?

Vandy could go 12-0 and not be a better program than UT. They had better coaches and a better mindset last year.

and it's "game on" this year.

The "journalist" who wrote that
(and I use that term loosely)
was making statements that he knew would
