Vandy WR coach responds to Butch Jones

Vandy is kind of like the nerdy kid who banged the hot chick, and then tells that same story 30 years later like it just happened. Vandy is beneath our feet in football, and has been since 1927. #ANCHORBROKE

:lolabove: Haha this is excellent! Couldn't of said it any better.:good!:

I'd kill for a 9 win season and a bowl win...

9 wins against 9 teams that sucked last year. The best win they had was over Ole Miss. We weren't anything to brag about. Kentucky, Missouri, Auburn, Presbyterian, UMass, Wake Forest, NC State.

I mean I want 9 wins just as much as the next guy. But mercy, Vandy beats 9 sucky teams and thinks they're something.

They will be lucky to win 5 in 2013.

I think Vandy beats us this year, and probably next year, and then we put them back in their place in year 3 of CBJ

I don't think so. I know Vandy put it on us last year, but remember, Dooley had already given up at that point. That was the week after Missouri. The team didn't care, the staff had lost them, it was over. It's amazing that Kentucky didn't beat us.

Remember, the talent gap is still widely in our favor. Vandy has had a good showing recruiting lately. BUT...we're still better. Just needed a coach.

I don't think Vandy beats us again for a while.

Ridiculous. I hate Vandy. I hope we completely terrorize them this season. They will always be second to us.

By the way....tvols75, did you go to FHU?

Don't concern yourself about Vandy too much. In a short couple of years, they will be back to the normal Vandy.

They have been living off of an easy schedule, the past couple of seasons. Just look at the wins they have had.
They are against teams with losing records; except for Ole Miss, their lone victory against a team that was bowl eligible.

In a couple of seasons, their Auburn will be replaced by A & M on the schedule. We will be much improved and will stomp them. Their Mississippi State will be replace by Alabama.
Once their schedule gets harder, you won't see very many wins.

Also, I find it hard to believe that Franklin's final destination is at Vandy. Once, his stock improves, I would say he leaves Vandy for a job at Iowa, UNC,
Minnesota, etc. and leaves Vandy behind.

Tougher schedule + a new coach = not being bowl eligible.... Then you won't hear a peep out of Vandy!!!!!!

The scoring difference wasn't just based on coaching. They were better than us. They will be better than us this year, and next year we lose a LOT.

Year 3 CBJ should have his players in place, and put them back in their place. I would love to never lose to Vandy and beat them by 100. However, as a realist, we will probably lose to them for the next 2 years...

This season, Vandy plays A&M and Ole Miss in the West. Ole Miss just added that ridiculous recruiting class, and is already much improved under Freeze. A&M is going to slaughter them. Like I said, they'll be lucky to win 5 games next year.

I could see us maybe losing to them once over the next two years, but it won't be this year. I think we get them back this year at our place, and then we MIGHT drop one at theirs. Then again, if this recruiting class continues to be awesome, and these playmakers come in year one and make things happen, we may be just fine. Time will tell.

Trust me, Franklin will refer to this past season a lot between now and August, because they are going to be eating humble pie from September onwards. No way they improve or come close to last year's performance.

"Not every1 can have 60k fan 2 see a spring game but some can win 9 games win a bowl game & graduate 88% of their players not 58% #ANCHORDOWN"

Have fun with this.

Yeah....when the sun shines on a dog's :shaking2: it is time to run thy Vandy mouth........btw when the N.F.L. doesn't want any of your players early let alone ever you should graduate 88% of them...... #ANCHORDOWNATTHEBOTTOMOFTHETENNESSEERIVERVANDYBUMS

Good thing we care more about football, in which we kick their ass 99% of the time. I love to see guys graduate and do good in school, but when it all comes down to it we all could really care less as long as they do good on the field.
