Of all of the irrelevant stats in his write up, and there are many, the most irrelevant of all is Arky's record against the spread in the last 7 games in this series. "Laughable, meet click bait. Click bait, meet laughable."

That of course being directed at Mark Lawrence not at you OP.

If you think JOSH might overlook this game you have a legit concern.

If not…news flash…this team goes as Josh does. Period

I believe it will be a competitive game, better than many think. I think we end up winning by 10+. I really don’t care what we win by I just want the W.

Most of the Vegas handicappers are picking ARKANSAS to cover the points, OR win outright........ Just passing it on, Mark Lawrence has Arkie as his weekly 5 star play. To beat the Vols. Hmmmmm.

Tennessee has looked like a national title contender so far this
season, thanks in large part to redshirt freshman quarterback
Nic Iamaleava, who put up a solid performance for the Vols in
last week’s 25-15 win at Oklahoma. However, the Volunteer
defense won that game for Josh Heupel, limiting the Sooners

to just 222 yards of offense. While Heupel received coach-of-
the-week honors nationwide, we were busy fi nding some soft

spots in his record. For example, the Rocky Top head coach is
just 9-16 ATS versus conference opponents coming off a loss.,
including 4-12 ATS as a favorite of 13 or more points. The Vols
are also 6-11 ATS as conference favorites when playing with rest,
including 1-6 ATS when Tennessee is undefeated. On the other

side of the coin, the Hogs are 6-1 ATS in the last seven match-
ups in this series, and overall, they are 8-2 ATS as conference

home dogs of less than 14 points. In addition, Arkansas head
coach Sam Pittman is an outstanding underdog. You can fi nd

Most? Or just 1?

I mean I get all that. But I think what they’re underestimating is when the clutch plays need to happen, ie the slant strike to Thornton in a very precarious situation at Oklahoma, they happen. I just don’t think anyone (as a player and fan base) expects us to lose anymore.

The best handicappers have been getting cracked every week so I honestly wouldn’t go with what they say. A lot of them go more off trends and gambling analytics than pure football knowledge.

These guys toss out a crazy pick here and there to make it appear they know something Vegas doesn't know. But if that was true, they'd be kicking back in their mansion somewhere instead of spending every waking second trying to clickbait people into their money making scheme of the moment.

Lawrence has been around sports betting for 40 years, and is likely worth 100 Million. Of course he picks plenty wrong, even the best only win 65%. But Mark is recognized as the top guy in Vegas, has been for probably 25 years. I'm hoping this is one of his bad plays, I just shared it basically to fire the Vols up.
