Vegas has vols over/under at 4.5 wins

For those that continue to insist we under achieved last season. And for those that insist our oline will be improved. It's not a reflection of what Vegas thinks about butch but what they think about our material.
Even though there are six or seven winnable games, every game on our schedule with the exception of chattanooga is losable. It will be a miracle if our program can somehow manage to avoid an embarrassing loss during this slide. I'm going to say 6-6 but I would not bet on it. Utah state and Arkansas state are dangerous foes and Vegas knows this. Butch will start getting judged next season. Dooley signed to many Christian Harris and Cody blancs.:salute:

We haven't even named a starting QB yet.

A good portion of our talent isn't even on campus yet.

Lines are going to move like crazy over the next 3 months. Everyone chill.

Considering replacing, all the lineman on both sides of the ball, no 2nd team depth at all, an extremely hard schedule in the top conference there is and a road trip to what could be #1 Oklahoma in Sept, only 12 Srs on the roster... That's probably about right

So the fact they started a WR at QB mean nothing? Don't get me wrong I get what you are saying about losing to teams like Akron and LA Tech but there is no denying that Kentucky game was when we hit rock bottom.....hopefully.

There are a lot of unknowns with this team. We will be fine. On thing I can say the guys he has brought in are mature well beyond their ages. That will go very far this fall.

Plus I am sure CBJ will be drilling the importance of this season to these players. He will have them ready to compete. This whole program understands how pivotal this season is. We have to make a bowl if we want to sign another amazing class and we need another amazing class to get UT back to a good position.

I also wish the administration would stop scheduling these pressure cooker schedules cause it's doing more hurt than good at this point.

So a 5-7 football team losses 11 starters and plays the 2nd toughest schedule in the nation and vegas sets them at 4.5 wins?

I can't believe this injustice.

Offense: 4
Lane
North
Von
Malone

Defense: 4
Randolph
AJ
Maggit
sutton

Total: 8/22
*counting kicker and punter it is 8/24

That means going into the season there are 16 spots, or 66% of the total spots, are question marks. 6 games would be a good season; 5 meeting expectations; 4 underperforming.

Games I see us winning:
Utah St
Arky St
UTC
Vandy
Kentucky
One of FL/OM/Mizzou (Or None)

IMO as a casual fan

We are definitely going to beat Vandy, no doubt in my mind. Mizzou also won't be close to the same team as you said, but considering that game to be anything but a tossup at best is foolish.

Looks like we all know what's ahead. Let's hope for a game changer like Newton or Winston or a heck of a coaching staff. I have faith.GBO
