I don't know. I would assume that the military or the Department of State, or both, would come up with some language.

Its a fairly provocative thing for them to have done and I would have expected the President of the United States to say something in response.

No I would not . I don’t get all bent out of shape like that . I personally don’t think it’s a big deal . Russians have been doing close fly bys of our military warships with their loaded military jets for years also coming up to the edge of Canadian airspace with their bombers but I don’t get all tingly over it because .. they are Russians and they love to flex . It’s what they do . You act like because Trump isn’t jumping up and down now on his watch that it’s tantamount to Treason . Smh

The point is that it did not happen in a vaccum. This is Trump yielding to Putin's wishes # 37 or so.

There is some unseen politics going on in the corrupt Venezuelan government from many countries, kinda want to know where we fit in; even though, that is above my pay grade. Care to help me out with that?

Smh .. I just pointed you to the fact that this has been going on for years with the Russians , most times with our knowledge until long after it happens because it’s not made public by the president making a statement about it and you go right back to it being just Trump bowing to Putin’s wishes . TDS makes logical thinking people crazy , I’m positive of this .

We are also mixing apples and oranges. Flybys happen from time to time. We even flex some muscle occasionally.

Flying nuke-capable bombers to a base in Venezuela is provocation at a whole different level.

Don’t have a clue . You want me to guess ? Ok given our history , given other countries histories I’d go out on a limb and say all the ones involved are looking out for their best interest . The ones that want the current government in , probably have oil supplies , deals or loans with that government . The others probably want an environment that’s not in chaos . Pure speculation on my part .

Would you also agree that their bombers comming up to the edge of Canadian or Alaskan airspace is a provocation , they do it to test our response time . What about when their Subs let us see them come up our eastern shore and sit just off Norfolk , what is that ?

Edit : I can tell you for a fact because we live in Norfolk that it’s a tad bit unnerving to know their are Russian Subs sitting 12-15 miles out and they are letting us watch . So no Bombers in Venezuela doesn’t really register on my worry meter .
