Venezuela's Triumphant Socialist Paradise

People are trying to make this a bigger, more consequential story (Russia, socialism, etc.), but I think it basically boils down to the fact that Venezuela has a terrible president who's going to continue to be a terrible president until the military/police state has had enough. And then someone else will take over.

The point is.... SOCIALISM. If you don't see that... and where the Dimwit party is focused, then there is no helping you. This is what they want. As crazy as O'case of Kotex is, at least she's honest about her desires.

Socialism makes the government bigger than they ever need to be, end of story.

Venezuela was hanging in there until 2010-2. Now, maybe it was being propped up by oil prices, but it certainly wasn't in a crisis state like it is now.

That graphic doesn't show that Maduro is the problem, if you're using GDP as proof. It shows that GDP bottomed out before he took over.

its been failing for a while because they keep promising more and more crap. the issue now is they have over promised, and oil prices are down. the gap, as always with government, is wider in reality than it is in their head.

How do you feel about supporting Guaidó? His party is affiliated with socialist international.

Both men claiming the presidency are part of the left. The difference is one has a democratic mandate and the other is just a half-wit conspiracy theorist clinging to Chavez and Russia to stay in power.

Hyperinflation and its oil industry has gone kaput. Lots of crime.

As for timing, why is the U.S. suddenly ramping up the PR now? It's starting to have a "wag the dog" feel to it.
Dude ..... where were you during the Hugo Chavez years?..... the last 10 years?
