Very disappointed in Butch Jones

Didn't mean to blast your entire post, most was reasonable, and your statement that were we out recruited by Vandy was technically right if you just glance at Rivals. Just,as I said, don't think is an accurate depiction given all factors.

Well I mostly look at Rivals (as I think most people do). I do agree with you that Dooley did not focus on recruiting the second part of his last year (I think he spent all his time trying to salvage whatever may be possible in terms of W-L's at that point to try to save his job - including sitting in on Sal's defensive meetings etc).
But my main point in many of these threads (that all seem to want to argue the same thing) is that up until this time in their "presidency" (meaning no games played so far so we can only look at press conferences and recruiting) - if you only look at that in CDD vs CBJ year 1 comparison I think CDD comes out ahead (better initial recruiting class and less bombastic promises that cannot be backed up - especially best staff in the nation comment). Having said this I very much hope (as a Vol fan) that CBJ ends up with a much better W-L record than CDD when it's all said and done - which in the end is the most important measure. But I will still also pull for CDD to do well in whatever he does in the future (as I pull for all other former Vol players and coaches).

Fair enough TG

Dooley's year 0 really pissed me off. I knew he was a lazy sob that wasn't going to give his all for the program once I heard that. You don't call an upcoming season YEAR 0.

That's why he was a KR before CP took over...cause he's slow, eh?

I didnt say he was slow, I said he was missing that extra gear (a step too slow). How many has DY housed? ZERO. How many has Black Mamba housed? POINT!

BTW...This is the SEC, not HS.

What is there to like? He has been here since last year and has not won a game yet. :)

In hindsight, with Dooley coaching and Bray throwing beer-bottles better than z outs- it is a wonder that we won any games. Thank God these 2 screw-ups are gone . It was a chinese cluster-f--k over there the past 3 years, with fearless leader comparing us to the Nazis on D Day and Bray in the paper every week with his problems. The last 3 years is most likely the low point in 100 years of UT football. Things can only be better in the future.
