Vescovi footspeed is a liability on both ends of the floor. Barnes loves him but can not defend
Had plenty of energy on defense but maybe it was the circles under their eyes that affected their shooting. The whole team sucked in this game, but cut them a break once in a while. I didn't see the game live, but my wife said the players looked tired (Circles under their eyes). They certainly played like they had no energy. Plane rides will do that sometimes.
Between this game and Villanova, it appears if you shut Chandler down, you shut the whole team down.
We will go only as far as Chandler will take us. That may be problematic since our next opponents will be backing 3 into the
lane to keep Chandler from penetrating, like TT did tonight.
Boy this really aged well. My guess is you've basically disappeared from being a prognosticator.
This was after the Texas tech game. Go back and watch the replay. Tell me Santi and JJJ both didn’t struggle that game on defense.
Easy to cherry pick 3 month old threads after a loss. My ex did that, too. Scroll months back to a text to prove a weak arse point.
I get it tho, easier to go through life in orange colored glasses
Agree to disagree. OP shouldn’t have stated a broad judgment of SV’s play overall but more so just on the TTU game, as I did on my assessment of JJJ. But great argument, “it’s dumb” lol.Actually, making these points after one loss is dumb. Why don’t people watch a body of work? But that’s not how society works. People just can’t be patient.
Elite defensive team, and this is what we get. Comedy.

Your ex’s footspeed is not in question.

Being critical doesnt mean someone isn’t a fan or as smart as you. I would argue that it actually makes them more of a fan than you bc they can be more objective in their critique.
Your argument is that two players struggled defensively in a game where we held a top-10 opponent to 31% shooting and 57 points in an overtime game? This was after the Texas tech game. Go back and watch the replay. Tell me Santi and JJJ both didn’t struggle that game on defense.

I agree. Sounds just like my wife....the segment of fans who want to be critical and don't want to be wrong....I’ve been here a long time. What’s become apparent is that we have a segment of fans who just want to be critical and don’t want to be wrong. It’s gotten worse. Yea, it’s dumb. It’s not being a “fan” anymore.
Great assessment- I’m a better fan than someone else.
Well I’ve been here WAAAAYYY longer than you so my opinion is better. It seemed petty to drum up a 3 month old thread after a loss to attack or mock a poster being critical.I’ve been here a long time. My argument was don’t attack a guy for being critical. And JJJ did struggle defensively in that game. It was obvious that night. As a whole, they did their thing, but he let a guy run right by him several times, no argument to thatYour argument is that two players struggled defensively in a game where we held a top-10 opponent to 31% shooting and 57 points in an overtime game?
