Will Maddox made AA Eastern League All-Star game. Stewart made AAA all star game but will not be able to play due to injury. Great news about Senzel.

How is Maddox not earning more attention from the Tigers organization? The guy has been a consistent performer since Day 1.

Guys get labeled very early on......”great teammate”, “extremely hard worker”, “knows the game”, “tough as nails”, “will never be a major contributor at the MLB level”.......

Not saying this is what the club is saying about Maddox however once you get labeled it’s hard to overcome it.

Just FYI.... Godley has 11 Wins. That puts him tied a 7th best in MLB.

While he’s not a VFL there’s some invested interest in him, Brett Anderson had a solid outing last night and got the win: 6IP 2ER 6H 6K 1BB

The Rangers are the bane of his existence at Arlington Ballpark. We needed him to go 6, and he did.

Brett Anderson goes perfect for five innings. His final line was 7 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 H, 1 W, 2 K. He's the first A's starter to go 7 in 23 starts.

Brett spent a lot of time in Knoxville working out with the guys. Hopefully he will again. Would be a great role model for the pitching staff to turn too. He has persevered through a lot of injuries. Glad to see him pitching so well.
