Make that 7 straight multi hit games for Senzel.

Bats and Mud Hens faced off with Senzel going 2-5 with a HR for the Bats.

Christin Stewart went 1-3 with a triple and 3 RBI for the Mud Hens.

If these guys were on opposite teams, they would be in the show right now. Tigers out field is loaded and Reds infield is performing.

Detroit's outfield is garbage.

Senzel has been on a tear...Has hit in 8 straight, and in 7 of those 8, he's got 2 or more hits.

The Tigers made a bad rule 5 draft pick that help clog up the outfield. That pick also hurt Stewarts chance to be on the 40 man roster. Since he is not on the 40 man it is much tougher to promote him until September. I think if he can convince the Tigers that he can play adequate in the outfield he will get his chance.

His agent should request a trade to a team that will put him in a MLB uniform now

If he’s not on the 40 man by December, he’ll be eligible for the rule 5 draft.

Can you explain this?

The short answer is, after 4 years in the minors, if he's not on the 40 man roster, he can be drafted by another team. That team has to put him on their 25 man roster for the entire year.

Here is a good explanation:
