Paid leave for Vick?? Wow, Pac-man hasn't even been indited by the grand jury and he got suspended for the entire season WITHOUT pay. The NFL's policy is a joke IMO.

Commissioner Goodell has now instructed Vick not to report to camp until the league has completed its review of the situation.

Pacman isnt the "Face" of the NFL. Vick is. What a joke. Pac is dumb yes, but idicted no.

Peyton Manning could have video taped sex with an underage girl, get her pregnant, force an abortion and blame her parents. The NFL would give him a bonus check and make a commercial about it. Life is so fair...

The NFL's hands are a little tied. Being indicted doesn't really mean anything other than being formally charged.

After all that has been said and shown GA, dont you think he was in on this some way or the other?

He seems to be a major player here. I mean Bonds has been found guilty by the public and there is not a sliver of evidence or ONE failed drug test. Not one.

That's crap. The man admitted to the grand jury that he used "the cream" and "the clear". Those ARE known to be steroids. So you think he was taking designer steroids for years without knowing it?

Pacman is going to have a preliminary hearing on a felony coercion charge, which will determine if he will even goto trial. Vick has been indicted, by the grand jury and if indicted means that the federal government has a good-great case against you. Do you honestly think that Pacman will probably even goto trial after the way the owner of the club bungled the interviews he did and lied about half the things he said?? Vick has been indicted by a FEDERAL GRAND JURY, not your local court system here GA. Pac will plea out of this if he even has to do that, and Vick probably will get some time out of what he has done and a huge fine. So tell me again why Pacman is suspended and Vick still hasn't been??? We are seeing Goodell's bias here to money and nothing else.

You've got to be kidding. Pacman gets in trouble with the law the way most people eat popcorn. It's no wonder they dropped the hammer on him. Vick, while making very bad choices, is a first time offender, so Goodell's hands are tied to some degree. I'm sure the first chance Goodell gets, he'll nail Vick to the wall and disassociate the league from him.

You know something, Palmerio tested positive for steriods after blatenly lying to Congress and yet he didn't get charged with perjury. Yet the committee says it hopes to have enough evidence to convict Bonds by fall. Think that's fair???

Yeah, Atlanta gets a top 5 pick and takes Brohm in the Draft. A coach who goes pro and takes players from his College team usually doesnt work though. See Spurrier in Washington. Too bad he left there.

It still amazes me how Matt Schaub has become some sort of folk hero among backup QBs. He's a good backup, but I've seen a lot of him and I'm not nearly as convinced as some people.

Exactly. I don't know if Petrino will be a good NFL coach or not, but its not starting well for him.

I thought about this too, kinda like Cooter actually staring a game at UT. Good story but probably bad outcome. He has some very big expectations on him. I wonder if he has been practicing how not to get killed by the constant 300 lb lineman that will be destroying him on Sundays over and over and over.


Happies man in the NFL= David Carr. Houston saved him 30 yrs of his life.
