Well, my friends at PETA and the Humane Society must have slapped them for their complete disregard of moral decency. Surprisingly even the Rev. Al Sharpton has come out and criticized Vickhmy:. Before this I thought the Rev. was racist and afraid to go after blacks with the same zeal he crucifies white people with. I have new faith in the Rev.:thumbsup:
It's not exactly going out on a limb to condemn a guy who electrocutes dogs.

In refernce to Sharpton, I think he is familiar with taking an idiotic point of view if he can get some press or money out of it. Also to your point, I heard Ryan Stewart from 790AM in Atlanta saying that views from this were breaking down largely along racial lines. That really surprised me. I can't believe so many people are still at determining how they side with people based on the color of their skin. These activities are revolting, I don't care who you are.
I agree, completely. Sad thing is there seems to be much more hatred for whites from blacks than there is the other way around. I am really not trying to start a race debate, but I am sick of hearing how every black guy who gets in trouble is being persecuted because the color of his skin. Could it be they broke the LAW? That irrational logic needs to stop. I think people are getting sick of stuff like that. This case is a perfect example. I have already read some prominent African American blogs that are saying this prosecution is race related. Talk like that leaves me very sad and speechless. In this day in age, my God, we still have issues like this? Oh the humanity!:cray:
I'm talking about the few instances when you just watched him play, and sat back and said to yourself... "Damn. That's some of the best football I've ever seen." You know it's happened. The guy never practiced. Seriously, Vick makes AI look like Vince Papale. I have no doubt that if 7 actually practiced, he could do that week in and week out.Whoa now . . . I'm a Falcons fan and I've probably seen as much of Vick as anybody. Let's be honest. Vick isn't getting any further than his arm and his legs take him. I'm not saying the guy is stupid, but he's not exactly Joe Montana standing back there reading a defense.
It had nothing to do with football, he smoked some wacky tabacky before that game.I think part of his problem is that he's too short to see over the line very well, which is why he sometimes seems so much better throwing on the run. They list him at six feet, but from what I've heard that's a stretch.
Plus it's hard to call a guy who lined up once behind the guard "football smart."

That's about the only thing I remember when saying when watching Vick play. Nothing else about him, especially his passing game, has made me think he has revolutionized the QB position. He's a freak athlete that can run and throw it a mile... but that's about it.I'm talking about the few instances when you just watched him play, and sat back and said to yourself... "Damn. That guy is fast." You know it's happened.
..Shielding Vick from temptation quickly gave way to protecting his image..But repeatedly during the past six years, Vick's celebrity, his money and his value to his team helped insulate him from public censure for his actions.
Vick settled a lawsuit last year by a former girlfriend who said he knowingly gave her a sexually transmitted disease. But the case was closed in such secrecy that the woman's lawyer can't even say why he can't comment on it...After two friends with Vick pocketed someone else's fancy watch at the Atlanta airport, the owner said a Falcons executive offered him money to keep Vick's name out of a police report..
