The upload issue is a much bigger problem and not going to be an easy fix at all with so many uploads not being from licensed production studios but trust me the download issue is coming on its heels.

The studios can either be pro activate and self regulate better or they are gonna get torched by the feds eventually.

The issue isnt the porn itself. I have Russians for that.

I would say the websites have somewhat of an obligation to monitor their content as well and assist law enforcement agencies in the applicable countries with tracking said offenders.

Do you think that the article is wrong? It seems likely that niche genres would be disproportionately represented among unverified user accounts. They're not saying anything outlandish.

Porn tends to be pretty equal opportunity for the most part.

Wouldnt the deletion of videos create more work?

I see it removing possible revenue from past work, but not necessarily denying new work.

They can get work again, they just have to go through a channel with verified accounts or be self employed and get their own verified account.

I am not really seeing an issue with that part then.

Depending on what goes into a verified account of course.

Well, it may not be an issue to you, but not all of them are gonna end up in compliance and will remain unemployed. If it's a deal breaker to have a boss (pimp) or to lose their anonymity, then this is over for them.

I'm not even saying it's a bad thing. This is probably good on the net, but it did create new issues which are newsworthy.

Legalization has always brought regulation. If you want to run pretty much any business there is typically some type of registration that goes into it.

It could be as limited as a business license, all the way up to federal regulations.

This is a case, imo, of they should be careful what they wish for.

People are about to find out how much power Visa, MC, Amex, and Discover hold over everyone.

You can use multiple different warehouses etc to access them but at the end of the day if they blacklist a business it's over.

All it will take is for Visa to decide who they allow to sell goods and soon your in their total control.
