What Peyton is doing right now is seriously ridiculous, and winning. But he has 2 maybe 3 guys that will make the pro bowl that he is throwing to.

Brady is putting up fairly average numbers, but winning. He has guys that might not make a pro bowl team if we just took AFC West teams.

So honestly, which do you find more impressive? I'm pretty torn, Peyton is a video game right now, like almost silly numbers. But Brady is throwing to Huff and I, and putting up decent numbers.

Plenty of QBs have started 4-0 with less than stellar weapons. Nobody has done what Manning is doing.

Brady's supporting Cast was always Better than Peyton's. Look at this years stats and the reason Manning appears to be having a breakout year for the record books. Wes Welker. Brady had good years but his supporting cast made him.

There is no argument. Your friend has problems if he can't see it. Game Mgt is big. Peyton does it well.

His defense was better, but Brady has never had consistent weapons to work with like Peyton has.

Brady had a couple of years with Moss and Welker and set the NFL record for tds in a single season. If he had a couple of great receivers to work with for most of his career like Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne (or a rb that had multiple seasons over 1500 yards rushing) instead of a mismatch of pedestrian receivers like Deion Branch, David Patten, or David Givens I'm pretty sure his season numbers would be even more impressive. His supporting cast offensively was never the same caliber that Manning had in Indianapolis.

Do you have proof that he beats the big dogs in the regular season? Winning % against teams over .500 at the time they played perhaps vs under. 500? Or was that a blind statement? And no he doesn't do the same thing in the playoffs, what is he 10-12 now? Thats pretty far under his regular season winning %. You are right, not very complicated to just make a statement without proof.

It's crazy how willing people are to hate on Manning here. I can understand saying, "You guys are biased, and he is is not as good as Vol fans think." But you are trying to destroy him and it seems like you guys hate him. You're calling the only Tennessee QB to win a SB a choker. ANY QB WHO HAS A SB IS NOT A CHOKER. I don't understand our fan base.

I guess I misspoke mentioning his weapons. Patriots have the 6th ranked defense. He's not exactly winning with scrubs*. That's my point.

*and the best team he beat is the 1-3 Falcons.

If you don't wanna answer the question it's fine, I'm not trying to destroy Manning. You made a statement like it was a fact, then made a snide remark about it being pretty simple actually, so I asked for proof and pointed out his playoff record. I haven't said anything slanderous or not true in this whole thread. I never thought you'd pull the fan base card, especially with me. We have argued to no end over 5000 topics Huff, and I've never been.anything but respectful to you and your thoughts, and the same with you too mine. PM is great, but he isn't the GOAT. IMO Anyway I really don't care about this conversation anymore, carry on.

I honestly generally stay out of there, trust I've seen it plenty in the little bit I go in there. I find that hard to believe, cause you sounded just like a ff poster in that post. Maybe you're just a natural.
