Pretty decent first race of the year.

Wish Stewart or Jr. wouldda came out and said that it was Kyle Busch that's gonna kill someone, but it was obvious enough I guess.

yeah Kyle busch is an idiot just like his brother and his teammate jimmy johnson.

did u hear stewart say that someone one gonna get killed if these guys didnt learn how to drive?

yep... Kyle Busch has gotta lil more car than he can handle on the plate tracks, just like JJ. Gordon was the same way in his first few years on the plate tracks.

It was a pretty decent race for the most part. Hamlin had alot of help but the kid can flat out drive. I'm still pissed about my boy Carl getting the screw job for his pass on pit road entrance to avoid a wreck. Someone needs to kick Kyle Busch's ass for the way he was driving today!

As for the Nascar bashing in every damn thread, get over it! We all know you don't like it and we don't care. Don't act like a 8 year old and bash it in every thread you get a chance. Grow up. I don't like Gonzaga but I don't tell anyone about it every 5 posts.

Johnson's qualifying run disqualified: on Speed Channel's Victory Lane show, Bob Dilner reported that #48-Jimmie Johnson's Daytona 500 qualifying run has been disqualified due to an illegal traction control adjuster on the right rear of the car. Johnson had qualified 5th on Sunday with a speed of 188.762mph and the rear tires were rubbing and smoking during his run. So Johnson will not have his speed to fall back on if he has a bad run in the Gatorade Duel race on Thursday, but since he is in the top-35 2005 owners points, he is guaranteed a spot in the Daytona 500. Could be a fine and/or points penalty coming.(2-12-2006)

Also I'd like to say thanks to stupid NBC for not showing half of qualifying because of the damn Olympics....genius move

Knaus and JJ cheating already.

I'm with ya on the Edwards penalty, RT. I've never liked the yellow-line rule. If it's asphault, they should be able to race on it. Just as many accidents are caused by drivers using that yellow line as a blocking tool. NASCAR's reasoning on having that rule is pretty dumb.

Yep. What was up with McMurray today too. Between him and Busch I think they hit just about every other car out there.

Anybody who dosen't like Nascar needs to find another thread. Go start a thread about that homo who does the sewing show or whatever it is that you guys like.

Kyle Busch's strategy last night was do what Johnson done at Talladega....take out 90% of the field and there is no way he'll lose.....He can't run a plate race for anything.....I believe Jr. or Stewart one of the two may have gotten Hamlin if they had 2 more laps....But if a bullfrog had wings he wouldn't bump his butt everytime he went to jump either, should be an interesting Daytona 500

Just wanted to bump this up so I could find it CBC...

Felony Motor Sports cheats again. Chad Knaus thrown out of Daytona. From ESPN.com:

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Jimmie Johnson's crew chief was thrown out of the Daytona 500 on Monday for illegal modifications made to Johnson's car during qualifying.

Chad Knaus was accused of raising the rear window on the No. 48 Chevrolet to alter aerodynamics during Johnson's run Sunday. The infraction was discovered in a post-qualifying inspection when the car failed to fit NASCAR templates.

NASCAR said Knaus cannot appeal the ejection.

NASCAR also said the team is subject to additional penalties, which would not be announced until after Sunday's Daytona 500.

A weekend at Felony Motorsports:

Jeffy Gordon in the Bud Shootout: KABOOM (out of race) :biggrin2:

Brian Dickers (yes I said Dickers) in the Bud Shootout: (out of race)

Jimmie Johnson: got caught cheating, his crew chief was thrown out of Daytona

Kyle Busch: tried to wreck everyone on the track and was chastised by other drivers (he learned from the best at wrecking people- Jeffy Gordon and Jimmie Johnson) :bad:

I hope this is the beginning of a really bad season for Felony Motorsports. :biggrin2:
