VN Official Nascar Thread

Twas there.....12 of 14 days. Again, nasty rednecks have consumed the sport. But its still fun to hear a yank pronounce car and beer.
Kenny brought the 21 home 9th after laying back and horrible pitstops. Newman wasnt much help there once.

Saturday we had expected Ken to bring the #66 Dura flame/ yard man Brewco ford to the front. Ann Schrader bit her lip to only say sorry gang.

Look for Special K to bring the Wood Brothers/JTG Fusion to the front once again at Cali this weekend.

don't get me wrong, i'm not a Gordon fan. And Gordon admitted as much, but Stewart could have taken is foot off the gas pedal too and it would have avoided as well....

My point is for someone to come out and talk about "this aggresive driving is going to get someone killed" and drive like he did on Sunday is completey hypocritical....

Like it or not, if your going to stand up and spout off about safe driving and such, they you who opens your mouth first SHOULD BE THE FIRST TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE. regardless of who's fault it may or may not be out there.

He's all talk, and they way he sent Kennseth up the track, well, he loses all credibility with me. I don't care what Matt did before in turn 2. If you can't walk it, don't talk it Tony. :realmad:

and i don't like Kennseth either....but TS keeps giving me more reasons not to like him too....
I agree with what you're saying. He did lose credibility a bit after complaining about safety all week. All that stuff with Kenseth was completely uncalled for. It just really pissed me off the way those nbc morons tried to blame the gordon incident completely on Stewart when it was Gordon's fault. Granted he could have given a little there. But the hendrick homers @ nbc could have at least acknowledged that Gordon was the one who made the mistake.

STEWART should have checked up like any normal driver would.Of course he was smart enough to realize he didn't have the car so he made dam sure Gordon didn't win, since he knew he had the fastest car, thats the way I saw. Ask any driver Tony Stewart smacked around out there.

Not much good came from this race today.I like the races where the BEST PROVEN DRIVERS are in a battle down to the wire. :banghead:

Maybe the best proven drivers should drive faster?

Great finish for Jr. I was expecting something in the 20s.

Stewart didn't try to kill anyone today, that's always good for everyone. Sucked for him and Biffle, they had the best cars.

4 of the 5 Roush drivers finished in the top 10... I like that.

I don't mind it either. Helluva lot better than Johnson, Jeff, or Stewart. I don't have anything against the Roush guys.

Or have better cars is more realistic.Just one driver is all I'm asking, just one great driver.BORING!

Looks like the BEST PROVEN DRIVER has proven that he ain't all that since Ray Ray moved on to bigger and better things. Let's not forget too that cheatin chad was one of the set up guys on the 24 back in those days. No tellin what kinda fudgin they were doin.

He, JG, should have taken 4 instead of two tires like he said after the race. That's what I saw.Engine and driver were fine!

Accoring to Jeffy, when the 24 team didn't make the Chase last year, the team was using the final races to get ready for this year. Maybe it isn't the team or the car that is the problem, but the driver.

It's not Jeffy.It's Jeffrey :biggrin2:
JV, cant's figure out if you are a Johnson or Gordon fan.Give me a hint!(Maybe both). :wavey:

I detest both of them and anyone else that drives for Felony Motorsports.

i forgot to put qualifying on here.

race in vegas is almost over. typical roush and hendrick domination at a track built just for them

i will update when it ends.

Way to go Jr... great run all day, gonna get another top 15, and throw it away with 2 laps left by speeding on pit road. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Man I just can't bring myself to like Johnson. I am only a Jeff Gordon fan, PERIOD!# 5 for JG today was good.

yeah, his crew chief is way overrated.

i just want to say that nascar needs to quit giving these stupid green/white/checkered endings for ratings and sponsors and let these guys race.

if one of the hendrick guys doesnt win then nascar isnt happy. this is ridiulous.

3 races this year, 3 green white checkered finishes.

hell just make it mandatory on every track nascar.

boooooooooooooooooo boooooooooooooooooooo boooooooooooooooo
