VNs Big Thread of Deportation

Alright VN - let's talk deportation.

Should we even deport people who are here illegally? (YES)

Should we deport people who failed their asylum claim? (YES)

Should we deport someone awaiting asylum claims that has committed a felony while here? (YES)

Should we deport someone who didn't show up for their asylum evaluation? (YES)

Should we deport someone who was let it but had a violent criminal history coming in? (YES)

Should we deport someone we let in on an asylum claim that has yet to be adjudicated? (NO)

Should we deport someone that has overstayed their VISA? (YES)

What are the other categories?

How much is that going to cost? I'm OK with deporting illegals that have committed another crime, but I think going after the bold requires a lot of effort/resources/$, isn't good for the economy, and for what purpose? Just so we can follow the law? Nah. Gotta pick our battles. Once we've mastered the priority groups, let's worry about the groups that are actually good for us, on the net.

I don't think you go after them per se. You deport them as you come across them like traffic stops etc. I'd imagine that's the plan.

Don't have to actively "go after" them. Just kick 'em when they get caught.

But that's a burden on local governments and not good for local governments (unless it's a criminal). I don't want my local PD enforcing immigration laws. We need them to be friends with the community, not enemies of the community. This presents all kinds of problems.

You have about as much regard for the law as they did.

If we actually required and enforced e-verify using the actual freaking laws that exist, and we started busting people using fake SSNs (which is a whole issue), then we end the incentives and end the problem.

This is the answer. No deportation plan works until you nail down the basics that you pointed out...

Of course, the ag and construction industry would hate this and they are overwhelmingly R....

Hopefully, Trump picks this fight this term. Im skeptical until it happens.

Others to be deported:

Anyone who promised to leave the country if Trump was reelected. I will allow Bette Midler the option to drink drano as she previously indicated she would do if Trump won.

The hosts of the View and anyone who attended one of their shows in person.

The band Creed. I would also add Coldplay but unfortunately they are British.

The US Chamber of Commerce (R) is one of the biggest holdups on actually making the right things happen.

Just cut illegals off from all government controlled benefits. No money, no hotels, no phones, no nothing...that includes for their children. Nothing, nada. Many will leave on their own then.
