Vol #1 offense vs Wildcats #12 defense but….

If the weather is sloppy (windy, wet, cold, etc) would that favor UK with a ball control offense or UT because the offense gets defenders out of position making it easier for receivers to be wide open?

I like our chances, when you compare the next challenge compared to the challenge facing the elephants. But, we have to play the game on the field, not on paper. We'll know more late Saturday evening.

Alabama is ranked 15th in total defense AFTER we torched them. Kentucky's O-Line is trash. We will dial up pressure and force turnovers. At the same time, we will get burnt a few times as well. There is no way Kentucky can match up in a track meet.

Neither of those stats are the right stats.

Because I can give you a 70-yard drive every time you get the ball, and as long as you don't score at the end of that drive, I'm gonna crush you.

Because I score every time.

Look at points, not yards. Points are the only stat that matters.

I mean, I agree entirely with your message. Just don't like the evidence offered.

Go Vols!

Those are simply the current NCAA total offensive and defensive numbers. Both show the total TDs allowed and scored by both teams.
I not concerned about Kentucky in the least as long as we come out like we have against the previous world beaters on our schedule. We'll know more come Saturday though.

A key here will to be get up early by multiple scores. They can’t play keep up with us.

I think the bottom line is we stop the run and pressure Levis and this is over before it begins. If we have a 21 point first quarter put a fork in it.

The offensive line horrible!
The unit ranks 125th out of 131 FBS programs in sacks allowed, as well as 109th in tackles for loss allowed.
Welp this game will help solidify those numbers one way or the other.

We lowkey run the ball 75% of the time. About half our pass plays are extended handoffs for all practical purposes. My main concern for our Vols is ball security. Wright, Hooker, Fant, etc may need to conscientiously tuck it away a little tighter.

I just listened to Stoops presser today. I have never caught one of his before, but he did not seem very confident in his team this week. He basically admitted 2 things that we all would think are obvious.
1. Tennessee is going to score. A lot.
2. KY is going to have to play a perfect game and even that may not be enough.

One other thing I noticed is the really dumb questions that were being asked.
