Kentucky hasn't played an offense that is good, let alone GREAT. Also Levis is not a running QB so I'm hoping for a big win but Kentucky seems to get up for Tenn
I'm wondering too if the weather is the great equalizer in this game. Have we relied too much on the pass?If the weather is sloppy (windy, wet, cold, etc) would that favor UK with a ball control offense or UT because the offense gets defenders out of position making it easier for receivers to be wide open?
He may have had 2 weeks but he is going to be confused in figuring out what direction CJH will go -- will he use some trickeration? Who will be out on the field for this game? Is Tillman a threat once again? He has a lot to think about right about now. And don't forget a hostile crowd to boot.Stoops has two weeks to discover why Saban didn't look confident last week.
We need to make sure we don't bring up the Hail Mary in Athens when we go there. Same thing applies. Those were games of yesteryear. A whole new regime in place for both KY and TN.The UK play by play announcer Tom Leach tried bringing up the 2020 Tennessee-Kentucky game in Knoxville like that has anything to do with this game.
I can imagine Tennessee scoring 63 points on Kentucky and the Mildcats fans on the Wildcat Lair spending the next year saying Coach Heupel classlessly ran up the score on Kentucky
Once you think about it, we haven't really had too much in the way of rushing of plays from any team yet. Our OL does seem to hold its ground. We can only see them get better and better with each game. Don't expect much of a letdown. It won't be an all game wash out. Either way, out offensive line is one of the best in the country, and they'll show out again Saturday whether in the run or pass game.
