I agree...that call didn't smack the moron....it revealed the moron (AND ITS PHILLIP)....Just 20 seconds of thought would lead a normal man to realize how utterly stupid and moronic doing something like that is...And...IMO...Jeremy responded the way a normal, balanced, classy man would respond! Good job Jeremy!!!! Sorry....but this entire year has been loaded with idiots!I don't think Phil's call was appropriate. While many of us have thought and perhaps posted on here something similar to what he said, embarrassing Pruitt like that just doesn't seem right to me. Pruitt embarrasses himself enough as it is.
Are you saying that Pruitt gets a pass because he's grossly overpaid?I don’t think every school has a forum for the fans to unload on the coaches like this. It’s one thing to call up with a specific complaint. It’s another thing to subject the 2nd highest paid public employee of the state to “The Airing of Grievances “.
I love the segment of the fan base that is totally content for the program to hover at Vanderbilt level and blame Vol fans for the failure of the program. What's bankrupting our program is turnover of coaches. The last social media explosion resulted in handing the keys to Fulmer and Pruitt. Tom Mattingly and Celina Summers wrote a book about it and celebrated the "Fan Revolution" that brought it about. They celebrated fan power a little prematurely didn't they? Fan Power is mighty fickle.
it’s something someone who hasn’t gotten past 6th grade would say to another person
I propose a Ministry of Volunteer Truth. All electronic media posts should be reviewed by an unelected board of self-appointed Real-Fans. Any post not complying with the standards of conduct arbitrarily laid out by the board will deemed damaging to the program, and will subsequently be edited for content or deleted prior to being read by any outside entity.
God Bless America, the Volunteers, and may your chains rest lightly.
Ah the little man who's jealous of the rich man. Such a simpleton/loser mentality. The ole class warfare argument. You have no idea how much sacrifice they put in to get where they are so the little man should tell them how to spend their money. Maybe you should have put in more effort so you could be like them.
If Phillip were trying to answer fan questions live on air it would be bad form to call him a loser and put him on the spot like he did CJP. This is actually the correct forum for that IMOYou are fine with calling Phillip a loser, but oh a fan can’t express dissatisfaction with the coaching performance. The hypocrisy is incredible. Perhaps you can work with the loser to more articulately express his opinion.
