Honestly no. I get a haircut because my hair was too long, shoes because my other ones had holes in them or outfit because they either don't fit or have holes in them also. I don't buy things to make myself feel better. Well unless it's medicine.Literally no, but it is exciting and the players were hyped about it last yr. And so did most fans who aint hung up on changing. Do you not feel better with a new haircut, shoes, or outfit? A new color doesn't have to be broken tradition
Tennessee has no alternate uniforms in current use. The all-orange was considered an alternate prior to 2009, but was used several times in the Lane Kiffin era. Dooley has yet to use the all-oranges. The white jersey/orange pants uniform wasn't used since the early 90's. CLK brought back the orange pants on the road in '09 as well.
However, we've had a couple of one game special unis.
In, '09, obviously, the black unis.

In the 2004 opener vs. UNLV, Tennessee wore an early 70's throwback uniform.

Other than, not too much to speak of. I'd love to see the 70's throwbacks be brought out for one game though.
My linebacker coach always said "If you look good, you play good" yet we only went to playoffs once and lost the 1st round
