That's actually the point, that they're tight enough that there is no material for opposing players to grab on to.
The players loved how they fit and how they feel. All the top-level adidas schools will be wearing them next year, to add to the 8 that did this year.

hey, if the players love them, then i have NO problem with them. i do agree with York, somewhat about the undershirts needed. i also hate the small names on the back. i dont mind the away jerseys as much as the home jerseys as well.

Okay, I don't get it. It seems like everytime I see the Vols on TV or in person we're wearing some different shade of orange. The helmets, jerseys and pants stripes don't match. There's at least 30 different shades of orange in the stadium. Where's the quality control? Who makes the decisions on how Tennessee merchandise is produced? I have worked in product development, marketing and have had apparel produced to meet stringent color-matching requirements. So, I know that you can achieve color uniformity in different types of clothing and merchandise, it just requires a little effort and oversight. So, who's making all these bad decisions for the team's uniforms and the merchandise that's being sold in the name of old UT? Whoever it is, they need to put a little more time into making things right. Incidentally, the orange on the helmets looks closer to Clemson orange than the orange I've always associated with Tennessee.
Ive always wanted them to do a black jersey with orange numbers and white trim
i think our basketball team did something like this one time...called them "halloween uniforms"
I think it would be cool to do v south carolina one year since we always seem to play them near halloween
This is how the numbers on our road jerseys should look. Who gives a crap if you can't see them.
