again more opinions. Well at least you have plenty of those

and yes the money UT gets does affect some UT fans since the shortage needs to be made up in donations for us to get to the same level.

Your right neither of us have shortage on opinions or garbage spewing. I disagree that it does effect us normall fans. The paying of all the former coachs effects us much more.Next time I need knowledge on stuff bro im coming to you first. You seem to be the man with the answers.

Ok Again I will talk slow for you. I havent checked in a while and i just assumed all UT fans were like me and bought gear by the thousands per year. I buy all Nike stuff they come out with. I have bought all the Adidas Scorch Gear, its by far the best looking stuff they make. But outside of the Scorch Gear alot of it looks like stuff old people would wear and i guarantee they arent buying it. They probably buy the 5 dollar walmart shirt and hats. I was wrong for assuming. I didnt realize how far as a program from every aspect we have fallen. Some winning seasons and nice gear will go a long ways. Even though winning or losing people should support UT but their are too many bandwagon fans out there unfortunately. NotreDame and Michigan, especially NotreDame just has a bigger nationwide following. Something we used to have but have lost in recent years.

Talk slow huh.......maybe you should read facts before you "guarantee UT would be a top tier school". Your arguement was that UT are outside the top ten because you think its because they are with Adidas which is just not true.

Ironic. You seem to be a bit of a clown and an expert on all things apparel, except that the lone fact you threw out was as wrong as boys humping.

All of your stupidity about old people wearing it, etc helps close the gap. That stuff is utter brilliance.

Because Bama's got it like that with Nike........we dont and wouldnt

Every university has a say somewhat in the jerseys. Just like the black jerseys we had. I guarantee you neither Adidas or Nike would have forced that on us. The players, especially Eric Berry approached Kiffin about doing that. I personally loved the black jerseys. I wouldnt want it for every game but 1 game a year would be great. It would make money or the school could donate them for charity, pay for all of our former coach's were paying for. Numerous options. I loved the one year when we had the stripes down the side of the jerseys.

Just keep repeating the same message. It seems to be working for you.

No I didnt say we were outside of the top 10 because of Adidas. Nothing about anything I said even remotely says thats the reason. We dont have a Nike rep on here so you dont know just like I dont know what kind of money we would get. Some dude posts something from someone he trusts, those arent facts. I said it is a combination of sucky fangear, poor seasons, bandwagon fans who only buy stuff and attend games when were winning. Thats what I said. NotreDame has a much more loyal fanbase than we do, which is unfortunate. We used to have standing room only games now were lucky to get 90+ in the stadium. Its really sad. I live in Bham and come to atleast 3 games a year and their are people who live 30 mins away who wont even go.

Schools are charted in tiers to these apparel companies.

Nike considers Tennessee a second tier school. Tennessee doesn't have anywhere near the clout to veto any stupid unis Nike wants to put Tennessee in. You do what Nike says or you don't get the free stuff.

Adidas considers Tennessee a top tier school. They cater to Tennessee's every need.

Adidas and bandwagon fans are the cause of Tennessee's fall from the top. That's a great excuse.

Actually, DeerPark12, who is on here, is as close to money as you can get when it comes to apparel contract issues.

Try another argument....

You didnt say that Tennessee is out of the top ten because we are an adidas school?

And sucky fan gear is one of our school's issues. Guess life is great when you can't think beyond 4th grade.

Didnt say it was an excuse bro, its actually quite sad. You should pull for your team and support them win or lose. Trust me the past few years I have come to games and wondered what i was thinking watching us get our butts kicked all over the filed. Its a combo of alot of things including Fulmer being kept to long, Hamilton making poor hires. Never said it was one thing. it never is.

Does he work for Nike or Adidas? I can claim to work for either of them and it not be true..Next...

Idk. I do know he calls every thing at least a month before it happens.

You could claim a lot of things, but by the way you are arguing, I sure wouldn't believe many of the claims. I do believe you live in Bama though.

You dont know me and wouldnt know if its bad for humanity or not. Whats bad is dudes who talk about little boys humping, not cool bro. Its pretty sick and people like you need to be locked up and have the life beat out of you. Then have Bubba make you his little boy toy.

When you have been proven wrong, get mad.

That works

Of course, people fail to remember that we won a National Championship in adidas.

The whole debate is pretty simple. When Nike (or UA or anyone) wants to make an offer that is financially competitive with the offer adidas makes, then UT will listen. To this point, no other company has even approached adidas' offer for Tennessee Athletics.

People often argue that if we changed, the difference in merchandise sold would make up for the difference in money offered. But what most people don't realize is that the school receives less than $1 for each licensed product sold in the realm of apparel. Based on Nike's last contract offer two years ago, we would have to sell roughly 2 million more pieces of Nike gear EACH YEAR than we presently sell with adidas. That's not reasonable. No school sells 2 million more pieces of apparel than we presently do. We would have to be the top-selling school by a wide margin to make the money back. And we'd have to do it every year to make up the difference.

According to some, it would be easy to do because Nike makes much better looking apparel
