people in the south prefer plain clothing, like a white or orange breathable polo with a power T, not one with all those graphics or stitching

I wasn't referring to the basketball hire so much, but there's a reason hammy is no longer here. If hamilton would have been a little more aggressive(forked out the money), Dooley wouldn't be here!

yeah, the obvious answer is why can't we have both plain adidas clothing and the newer designs.

same with the unis imo. never change our classic home uniform (best in sports), but do whatever with the road ones. we have a history of changing our road unis periodically and imo it's time. everyone's happy.

Wth does that have to do with Adidas giving us a lucrative contract that far exceeded what Nike was willing to offer? This is not about what looks good or what the young kids like, it's about money and control. With Adidas, we got it, Nike wasn't willing to offer. I like Nike stuff better honestly, but that has nothing at all to do with why the University went with Adidas. Business wise, it was not even debatable.

I think I've made it pretty clear that I'm for Ua, the Nike arguement is just to give you a hard time really:eek:k:

LOL I made the same point earlier. We can survive just fine with a lesser deal from Nike. Especially from bowl and Tv money plus donations. Money iesnt everything and we would sell much more of the Nike stuff but to some people its all about money. I will continue to buy all the Nike stuff they want to produce and pick and choose with the Adidas stuff.

I would be cool with UA too. I could careless about the shoes I dont wear either of them. Wished New Balance would get into the mix,lol. Its about the product and adidas is just as cheaply made as Jerzees or other cheaply made products.

if you can put a pair of Adidas Adizero on your feet and say they're inferior to anything then you're lying. Our guys get the top of the line and not the $40 stuff from Dicks.

Adidas has made a bigger commitment to support my Univ in athletics. They do not put them below our rivals in priority so I will support them.

I dont care about shoes I dont wear Adidas. Plus they are wearing cleats not Adizero. I would take New Balance over any Tennis shoes out there. From the 40$ to the 150$ shoes.
