In my opinion, this is the best uniform combination Tennessee has worn during my lifetime. I really like the orange collar.

Big fan of the orange pants. In a way its dooleys way of remembering the Vols the way they were when he was younger.

Agree 100% on the larger numbers! Would love to see them come out in the old school white jerseys with the orange numbers and the thin seperated orange outline of the numbers (no black).

Id take this picture, change to the newer/brighter sherbert Orange, and change to the tighter jersey style. And then never change it again.

That is a sharp uni right there. I dont like the black outline on the new stuff.

Im a fan of the all white with no black outline. There is also a jersey from a little earlier that has no outline, just the orange number.

Yeah, college and pro have went without the full knee covered pads for a while now. I'm not sure if it's just specialists or what, but I think it makes it less constricting while running.

They are required in the NFL again, starting this year.

College officials are supposed to warn players if the pad does not cover the knee. You can see in the photo that Rodgers is wearing a knee pad, but the pants have ridden up his leg. That's not supposed to be permissible.

DP, any chance we lose the black outline anytime soon?

I hope, but now all the "tradition" people are going to start complaining

The main "tradition" person against it is Derek Dooley, so I guess if you guys really wants black jerseys that badly, you need to be hoping he fails this year.

for a long time Fulmer had the team in those white pants with no stripe. You could see through the material especially once sweat was flowing. They were cheap. Would have been more popular on the cheerleaders.
Also, those tight fit jersey's are hideous.
