Yay, rumor time

In all seriousness though, wouldn't it have negative repercussions for the school for Hart or someone to already be leaking/saying such? (while still under contract with one and "supposedly" having decided/speaking to the other?)

How so? That's called bargaining power. The only thing that would come from this is Adidas being willing to bend over for UT to keep them.

I don't know if you noticed or not but several times last year we decided to wear the traditional mesh jersey's over the new tech-fit ones. The bama game last year was one where we did that. I don't know what the reason behind it was, just found it interesting.

I did notice. I would like to know the reasoning behind that as well.

Boooo. The only thing Tennessee and Bama agree on is keeping traditional uniforms.

I'm in the under 25 crowd, but I vote to keep the tradition rolling.

Alabama is Nike. The school determines the uniform. There is a misnomer floating around that Adidas is the reason we don't have a wild alternate uniform. Not true. Bama went with Nike, and have mandated the traditional look.

Dooley likes tradition. We'd be wearing glittered, black spandex if Kiffin was still here.

This is a coach/AD decision.

Look it took Adidas this long just to get close to looking good ORANGE...not looking forward to 25 years of odd orange color unis.

I guess I'm the only one that likes the old jerseys. As in the mesh right before tech fit. Look like those days are gone. Now we're stuck with basically quarter sleeve tees as our jerseys. But Nike might be able to get the color right at least

I agree. I don't have a problem with what adidas is putting on the field right now. It really just comes down to the "fan" apparel. Nike would have way more of a variety.

agreed trying to find the Adidas stuff you see the coaches wearing is impossible

Isn't there already someone in the uniform thread that has been working hand-in-hand with apparel companies to design UT's new super cereal secret uniforms?

Well they haven't been willing to give as much to UT as Adidas has. And I doubt the money gap is that huge

Contracts are long too though. New AD coming from a Nike school...wouldn't shock me if a change came, wouldn't shock me if it didn't.
