We have someone here who works for the UTAD and says over and over again they aren't wearing black ever. I trust him over a sports betting site.

If it takes black jerseys to get our players fired up, then our coaches aren't doing a very good job.

My information is still telling me that black jerseys were vetoed by the administration long ago and will not be worn under any circumstances. Take it for what its worth.

There will be no blackout. We will not wear black jerseys. They haven't been ordered, they're not in the equipment room. I don't know why people keep bringing the rumor up.

I'd say all-orange is more likely than it was under Fulmer, but not a sure thing. It'll definitely be a whim type of thing.

Anybody who said they saw a black jersey, other than the ones sold in stores was making it up. They don't exist.

He told the students at the meeting that the issue with black jerseys was dead, he would not authorize them at any time. They had gotten a TON of negative feedback from fans and donors when the rumors first started this summer.

The statements were consistent with what he's said in the past. It's not happening, no matter how many times people act like it is.

All of these quotes were from DeerPark shortly before the USCe game on Halloween 2009.
