I don't like it.

Maybe it will look better on the players and with the uniforms but it kind of looks something that would be on a plastic toy helmet for a kid. Doesn't even look like the same orange as the checkerboards.

I do like the checkerboards though.

More I look at it, I like the orange stripe we already have better.

Maybe if they put orange outlines on checkerboard or something. I don't think I like how the white checkers blend into the helmet.

The helmets have changed in the past and they will change again.

I wouldn't mind going back to that: simple and straightforward without the embellishment of a later age. But the point remains the current Tennessee helmet is quite different than the one Coach Dickey envisioned.
