I like the checkerboard but I love TN's current helmet. Having alt. uni's/helmets for a game or 2 every year is no big deal. We're fans and it's ultimately the players decision. Whatever they want to do as long as it isn't maryland-esc or dramatic permanent changes is cool with me. Checkerboard, black, chrome.. whatever makes the players happy, and if they say it helps sign elite recruits and win games then go for it.

Same here. Sick of basically every team changing up their uniforms, while we have the same look every damn game, every single year. The recuits, and players love the jazzed up uniforms on occasion, why can't we do it every once in a while? I'm all for it. The only tradition I care about is winning.

I don't really like the helmet but could handle it for one or two games. IMO, the UT helmets are classic college football helmets that should remain the same forever.

Army's uni's are a cheap ripoff of the USMC's digi's. we look better in them and they served their purpose. Never understood the Army's idea of "universal camouflage" Seems like an oxymoron to me.

Not crazy of the new helmet especially the checkerboard stripe. Best idea I've seen is the jerseys that mimic the power T, like in VolorNuttin's avatar :acute:. I love those jerseys!

Like everything else some will like things and others won't like it at all.

The only thing over 90% would like is if Bill Gates was giving away free money and even 10% would be against that, LOL.

I like it. Maybe we can see those sweet black on black matte helmets that were floating around earlier this year.

I'm 100% with you. These are kind of "mhew". I want the badazz black matte helmets and uniforms.

The kids we are recruiting love the alternate uniforms/helmets more than "tradition". I say, whatever gets the recruits here, go for it.

I'm kinda likin' this new helmet for a game or two every now and again. I like the orange facemask, though not sure on the shade of orange for it. The checkerboard I'm on the fence on cause of the white meeting the helmet like someone else mentioned. I don't mind some different looks as alternates, but not replacements. Our look is classic and clean.
