You're welcome and thank you to all those that have enjoyed my Vol designs and those that have made suggestions or were curious to see what something different might look like. I'd not mind seeing some of what we've had in this thread for a game a year, either homecoming, opening game, or what not. Throw backs would probably be the easiest for the older folks to swallow as it would be something old with an updated look to them.

Bit of a side note, but does anyone know where I could possibly send something to CBJ to have signed by him? I'd not mind having 2 of my "Butch Bucks/Vol Dollars" signed on the front and back and have them framed to hang in my living room with my other Vol posters I've had signed at the O&W games.

Call the Athletic Department, specifically Marketing. They might be able to tell you where he might be signing.

You could try to catch him at one of the events after NSD.

Ahhhh, thank you...now to track down their number, heh. And yeah, I would actually prefer and love to meet him in person to get it signed but I don't get the chance to make it to any events aside from the O&W game and the HC line is always too long of a wait... the special teams lines was very short last year. ; )>

Can someone make a true "checkerboard" jersey with bold black numerals? In my opinion, that would look fantastic, and also get national publicity.

I`ve seen the all-Orange unis several times in my life. I wanna see Orange Jerseys ALWAYS,but we can add black,silver,or camo to the pants and helmet. I think camo or black pants with Orange jerseys with black and camo outline on the numerals. And Orange helmets with silver Ts. There are so many possibilities RETAINING BIG ORANGE JERSEYS-ALWAYS! I`m in the "we should wear black or? on occasion" crowd,but I understand the other point of view and support it too.

I could give it a go if you'd like. I'll definately need to play around with the size of the checkerboard, I don't think 4 rows will look good (the number of rows in our end zones, which is why I always tend to do that amount). It'd probably come off looking like a jockey's shirt. But I could adjust the size to make a few looks really.

Seems the carbon fiber concept has been more positive than negative as far as people's takes on it. It's gotten the most likes to anything I've posted...now if the Vols were to ever make these helmets, I think VolInsider and myself should get one a piece signed by the entire team and staff, lol. ; )> (riiiiiiiiight)

hopefully one day the traditionalists will come around and we can modernize the uniforms. This helmet has one hell of a wow factor to it

Thank ya, gotta give credit to VolInsider as he began the work and I just picked up the ball and ran a little more with it. ; )> I'll admit, the more I look at it, the more I have really warmed up to it and would love to see these in real life...the carbon fiber just pops and I think it'd be killer (killer? I went 80's there) looking in a game.

Side note to let people know, I am still working on the checkerboard jersey, should have a few options on that from the previous requests.

A lot of guys on the team are trying to promote a jersey that looks similar to aTm's, but in place of the two white pinstripes going down the shoulder.. it would be two checkerboard strips. Everything else would be traditional. That's a small change that I think would look awesome.
