So how did you do that?

How did I do what? Altering the helmet to orange and all? Alot of adjusting the color and retouching out the claws and all in Photoshop.

Okay, here is what I mocked up really quick and went ahead and put the carbon fiber helmet on as well. >

Pardon some of the roughness to the helmet, I know the T got distorted when I warped it to try to match the helmet area on the original image, plus some of the facemask doesn't look quite right....but you get the idea from this I think.

That's all I'm talking about, just a one game thing for any of the stuff I've tossed out here. I don't want to go reinventing the wheel by any means, but I don't think it'd kill us to do this for the O&W game, first game of the yr, homecoming, or any of them really. : )>

Okay, here is my version to the carbon fiber look that some of you asked to see. I'll admit the pattern is a real pain to match, got close, still not 100% perfect, but this gives perhaps a better idea as to the look than before...

I am one of the traditionalists that hates change... but this is beautiful!

Definitely my favorite so far, love the carbon helmet with it. Looks great man!

Glad you like it, hope it came out how you envisioned. I'm also working on a white carbon helmet and doing the dreaded black jersey of this as well.

Needs a little more work to it, but thought I'd toss that out before I leave for the weekend. May get the black jersey done soon as well.

This is pretty close to a uniform design Adidas submitted to us for last season, except the shoulder was one solid thick stripe, to match the helmet. Obviously, the helmet would have been our normal one.

Just a heads up, that "Vols" logo was retired in 1997 and is only used on throwback stuff.

I am too, but I am OK with anything Tennessee Orange & White. The black makes us look like a high school program.

Might consider the power T instead of the Vols logo. Or an outline of the state.

I just don't get the carbon fiber obsession. Why would anyone want their football helmets to look like the hood of tricked out Honda Civic?
