Just a heads up, that "Vols" logo was retired in 1997 and is only used on throwback stuff.

Ahhh, thank you...I don't think I had become aware it had been retired. I used it in that spot mostly because it fit the open area best.

Might consider the power T instead of the Vols logo. Or an outline of the state.

I had tried the Power T, but the arms of it were getting too far into the checkerboard pattern and just didn't look right. Now an orange state would be good, for "give my all" or even an outline of the state as you said. I may try that and see.

This is pretty close to a uniform design Adidas submitted to us for last season, except the shoulder was one solid thick stripe, to match the helmet. Obviously, the helmet would have been our normal one.

Okay, changed out the VOL logo with an orange state of Tennessee and one with the new Vol football logo:

The Power T by itself just doesn't seem to want to fit well in that spot.

Higher possibility, sure, because there was zero chance under Dooley. But if you're expecting our uniforms to change, you're going to be disappointed.

I think I need to fix the white one more, get it a little closer to being true to form...I've always loved our white helmets, but between the two carbons, that orange one has really grown on me since I posted it. I think it'd look really nice under the lights as well. But I'd not be upset if either of these were used for a game. : )>

Yes, as I had mentioned, it was just a quick rough to toss out there at the time. I've not been happy with that stripe either, it didn't blend as well as the white did. But it was just to get the concept out there, though roughly...it can be corrected to look better if need be.

Two more years on the contract with Adidas and they have the right to match any offer made by another company beyond that. So, probably not.
