Vol uniform/helmet design discussion (merged)

What? Twitter? Facebook? People need to become a member of VolNation to see those awesome uniforms and helmets. They need to pay the membership fee and go through initiation like everyone else did.

All of the time spent making a uniform and people can not take out the Nike emblem....amazes me

I left the Nike logo intentionally when I made those uniforms. I used the Nike Elite jersey as a template, and I liked the look. I also wouldn't mind if the program switched. It probably won't happen anytime soon, especially under the current contract.
I don't have strong feelings on the Adidas/Nike matter, but I'm sure it plays a factor in the decisions of some recruits who get all the free gear.
If you don't approve of my work, you're more than welcome to submit your own.

Orange/white fade version up next in line.

I have no bo-staff, nun chuck, or photoshop skills. If I did, all I would change is the under shirts and gloves, they (in my head) should match the rest. I know, everyone is a critic.

I don't mind the changes people wanna see and I can see what you mean about the undershirt and gloves. I'll do the gloves in white as they'd be down at the pants. Undershirt fades as the jersey does should be easy to add.

My suitemate RS drew out another idea he had for a jersey. He made an orange one and a white one. This is mainly just for fun, but we wanted to throw these out and see what you guys thought.

I think we need to get you an orange color pencil. It looks like you're using red.

We appreciate you man...if I'm not good at something I enjoy the good work of another...like the black uni option but it would be better carbon fiber or metallic imo

instead of it being like it is in the picture.turn it where the laces go up and down.and put the T like it was on one of the others you did with the number over the heart.

I hope none of you uniform designers work for Adidas. A lot of these uniforms would have looked awesome in the 80's with players mullets hanging out the helmets.

And lose, I repeat, lose the checkerboards. They have no business being on the uniform.

Could someone PLZ do a modification to the 2002 unis that had the broad orange stripe up to the elbow? I know we wore them @UGA in 2002 if u need a pic. I`d like to see all black with an orange stripe and traditional or orange helmet. Black helmets would be cool too. Maybe Tennessee and Volunteers going up the stripe. Also the checkerboards could go up the stripe. The broad stripe opens up a lot of possibilities. I`d like to see matte black helmets with metallic orange Ts,stripe,#s,and facemask. I`d like to see all orange with a black stripe trimmed with chrome, emblazoned with Tennessee;black numbers with chrome outline; Tennessee in metallic orange going up the stripe. IS THERE ANYWAY WE COULD DO A STICKY CLIFF NOTES THREAD,SO WE COULD SEE ALL THE IMAGES WITHOUT GOING THROUGH 800 PAGES!!! PLEASE Volnation! Love all the concepts! Would LOVE to see all the unis in a blab-free thread! GO VOLS!!!
