It looks like Ford is in trouble (which from the polls .. I would guess it isn't a huge suprise). Although Shelby and Davidson are still being counted and he has a 60/40 lead on average in each of those counties...I don't think there are enough votes. I guess we'll see soon enough. I also think that Allen had Webb beat for the last couple of hours...even though the pundits keep saying the votes in northern virginia haven't been counted yet...I'm using THEIR webiste and I can tell that they have. They're not paying attention to the actual data being released..just what the spin doctors mention.

It's over for Ford.

Looking at the numbers on USA Today's website, I am ready to call the Great State of Tennessee for the next Republican Senator, Bob Corker.

As for Virginia, I think Allen will win, but it will be so close we will be mired in a "Recount" for awhile.

Interestingly, the Washington Post has pulled their call of the Senate Race in Maryland.

Hang on, it might be awhile before we know who controlls the Senate.

Yeah...I do believe you're right. Shelby county ain't what it used to be..and the outlying areas around Memphis look like they'll carry Corker through it. Ford stood a chance before Shelby started reporting...the votes were certainly there..but he would have had to carry Davidson and Shelby something like 80% or more and with about that much voter participation.

All of the major cities for TN have yet to fully report so you're talking a hge chunk of numbers. Webb is closing in VA.

It's a very close race here in Virginia.. There will be a recount no matter who wins this one. I just hope that Nova can pull through here in the last minutes. George Allen is an embarrassment..

Same thing could end up happening in Missouri. Talent leads by 5, but you know that St. Louis vote will come in late.

I've heard a lot so far today about voting machines not working at all, not working right and the elderly not being able to figure it all out here in Va.. Could be interesting..

We may not know who takes the Senate until dare I say Thanksgiving? I imagine that if several states are 1% or less difference, all of those would be challenged.

If it hasn't been said before: congrats OWB on the House win and possible Senate win as well.

I don't even care about the Senate, I think it'll be Republican. I just want Allen to disappear..

The sad thing is that I can say through my company, I had an indirect hand in the heavily targeted districts...the ones that are apparently turning. I guess I won't be very welcomed at the grown up table at Thanksgiving.
