Duke isn't the typical Jugernaut they've been in years past. We've struggled with top 25 offenses this season and Duke waddles in at a whopping 42nd so we probably have a better chance of winning 2 than most think. Now I wouldn't bet money because it is TN, but just saying, this Duke ain't that DUKE.

I am actually not that concerned about UL, Duke in Greensboro is more of an issue but they aren't like normal so that is winnable too. Purdue (or Memphis) would be a load

This Duke is 17-1 when fully healthy. They are fully healthy now.

They won their tournament impressively over 2 defensive sieves and a VA team that couldn't muster 50 points. I like our chances, but like I said I wouldn't bet on it.

Good defense is simply not enough. A few steals here and a few big shots there and TN goes down. Score 70 and you beat UT. I guess disagreeing with echo chamber equals trolling. Now, who's stupid? Think on your own.

Not worried about Louisiana at all.

Where are all the shameful Duke fans on this forum? They gon enjoy rooting for their bandwagon team against the big orange?

Just reading all of this, and kinda shocked at the fear of louisana and Duke - I don’t think we could’ve gotten an easier draw. I think we beat both of their brains in. Just my .02, but I’m not kidding - UT has a first class ticket to the third round with this draw.

The deeper I look into Louisiana, the less concerned I am with them. They have a really good record but also had a soft schedule. I also don't think they've seen a team with anywhere near the size and length as our team. They have one guy who is 6'11 and he will have to play as much as possible for them to even have a chance. Outside of him, they have one guy who is 6'7 and everyone else that plays substantial minutes are 6'1.

Sure, their team has a few shooters from 3, but I am hoping our length neutralizes them a bit. We should still dominate the boards and inside rotation should tire them out. J'J, Philips, Aidoo, Awaka, Uros, ON, should tire them down.

I do not know anything about Louisiana but considering Vegas likes us that much we are good. Now anyone can lose to anyone in this tournament. 2nd Round Duke played in bad Acc this year no where near SEC physical grind we played. We have been good on Neutral Site. Considering all the injuries this year for us I like we're we are. Go Big Orange. In CHRIST Alone

No idea what will happen, but we've seen this team show some great things. We've seen some bad things. It's a clean slate now. I'm amazed at the amount of people showing up in this thread with "whoa is me" attitudes here to take a poo on this team. I don't know if they will beat Duke, but in no way am I in the "we are screwed" camp. Just doesn't seem like a fun way to live. I'm aware of the letdowns, but this team has also played the best teams in the land, beating a few and barely losing to one. Yeah, ZZ is gone, but there is still hope for this team. Maybe they will crash and burn or maybe they will make a run, as worse teams do every year.

We might as well just forfeit. None of the experts give us a chance. All 5 hosts of the reveal show pick Duke to be a Final 4 participant. Should we just save our money and stay home???? Note tongue firmly planted in cheek…. We have nothing to lose. Let’s lace ‘em up and play some ball. No pressure. Go Vols!
