I hope the committee agrees that way we can get a NY6 bowl

Yeah, I was called "troll" on here for saying South Carolina could be a trap game for us. Now that I am right, I am not a "true" fan.

They are correct, I am an alumni which trumps a fan.

Geez, could your head swell any bigger? You’re acting like an a** and throwing out the “best fan” card. You might be an alum, but you’re also a jackass.

I second that. Been watching this team since T Rob and that was by far the most uninterested ,uninspired performance I can remember and I'm 48..
If they came out and said the team had been ravaged by the flu or a stomach bug…. I’d believe it. They looked tired, slow and as you said…. Uninspired. It appeared they had no desire to win or even be there.

Really weird. You could tell Herbstreet was even surprised at how bad they were and I loath that guy..

Many of us saying it. Tough to foresee a historic choke.
And you know the funny thing.... there's probably not one analyst that would pick South Carolina, even after witnessing what happened, to beat TN next week if we had a rematch.

They're in as much shock as everyone else.

Man, I read on here that everyone hates us all the time. How did we get voted #9? Thought we would have dropped to 15+.

That can happen if you eat that south carolina mustard sauce every time. I think it was Bru who ran for the locker room at halftime.

I'm shocked. No way did I see us staying top 10 after that performance. Frankly, I don't think we are top 10. We've been over rated all season. By some miracle, we've managed to cover our miserable secondary to reach 9 wins on the season. Helluva job.

Yeah, this is why I am hesitant on firing any of the coaches other than possibly Rodriguez the secondary coach. (Even then, I wouldn't cry if we kept him). The defensive coaching plan was bad yesterday but we are missing talent there and it has showed all season.

That’s the definition of underrated.

That sole reason alone is why I feel there has to be some type of divide going on in the locker room. Just can’t believe they laid an egg like that with the playoffs right in front of us. Lord knows when we will get another shot at it again

The fact we are behind LSU and Bama really pisses me off.

Just a waste of those wins.

I know man. I know… But after what we’ve been through in the past, I will take a #9 ranked team in the nation going in the last game of the season over anything. On top of beating Alabama and LSU. It’s been a dang good season.

This sounds crazy, but if the CFP rankings mirror the AP poll and:

Mich loses to Ohio State
We beat Vandy
TCU loses one of the next two weeks
USC loses to Notre Dame or Oregon
LSU loses to Georgia
Clemson loses to UNC

We’re back in the CFP discussion.

This game had me nervous before it even started, didn't really see it as a trap game but a night game at WB is wild and we didn't handle it well in GA...and there it went

Is it? The defense last night was the worst I’ve ever seen from a Tennessee team and I’m 55 years old
I don’t know. Probably a tie with 1995 Florida game. They scored touchdowns on 7 straight possessions. Six of them in the second half. Receivers were open by 5-10 yards on every play. Drives lasted about four plays. It was excruciating to watch. Defense was supposed to be full of 4 and 5 stars. At least last night it was always in the back of our minds that our woeful secondary might produce something like that in a game or two.
