Vols 'can point to' NFL draft return in recruiting

If he was going to transfer wouldn't he have already done it by now?

From what I understand he hasn't asked UT to release information and he hasn't applied to the draft so it is weird. I don't do Twitter but someone said he claimed on Twitter that he was transferring and not entering the draft.

Not defending Hurd as he's a quitter in my book...however, you can't make that statement about a little DB hitting him so hard and compare it to what he will get in the NFL. The only reason that hit looked so bad is because he had relaxed and thought no one was near him. Let that guy hit him and Hurd expect it, and the outcome is probably the DB on the ground.

Of course I can make that statement. The same situation can happen in the NFL. And what receiver expects every hit they get? Even if Hurd were prepared for a hit after catching a pass, but gets hit in a way/ angle he didn't expect, he'd still be taking a nasty blow on his body. It's magnified in the NFL as well, accounting for greater mass and acceleration.

I've always thought he would pretend he was transferring up until he declared. I would have thought he would have announced by now.

I don't believe he will transfer. I think he is just waiting to announce his decision to declare and act as though it was a change of heart.

If I were an NFL scout I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. Too many questions...
