Vols Favored Big vs USCe -- How?

The difference here is simple.
1. We play in Neyland. This year UF was at Swamp & their better than ppl thought & last year SC@ W. Brice tough super loud venues.
2. We lead SEC in Sacks 17 by our D. USCe O Line has given up 16 sacks most in SEC.
3. We lead the SEC in Rushing yards. SC is last in rushing yards.
4. Will that translate into a W , who knows but this is why the line is around 11.
Simple as that
I will add our team does not respond well at loud rowdy venues (see UGA 2022), so even if we do slide by USC, TAM.
The big hurdle to take this team to another level would be to tame the Tuscaloosa crowd. GBO

Add to the list USC has no OL and their defense gave up 30 pts to MSU at home at night.

Also add to the list that this is a big time revenge game and the USC QB will have a big bounty on his head. Our D will tee off on his body.

refs already have the game figured out ....a ton of holding and off sides call against SC will benefit Tenn. Again, refs already know the winner
Sadly not thru & thru but there may be some instances where say UT is 11+ favorite and if you have a Ref on the take the instructions would be. Our big money is on SC and the points if UT looks like they are about to go up by 2 scores start using the usual flags that can/could be called on every play. Our instructions is we don't care who wins just keep the margin under 11 on the Orange side. There's some big money to be made. If they're on the take they know who wins and it better be the gamblers that are paying them.

We have to put more than 63 on them this weekend. Band will play Rocky Top so much their fans will never return to Neyland.

I think that is crazy. Tennessee held the ball for 22 minutes. That's an eternity to the offense CJH runs. They did it by abusing the WRs at the line and pressure on the line. Same thing Georgia did last year, the same thing USC did, the same thing Florida's defense did, and USC will try the same thing again. Strong corners that don't let receivers release and an attacking line has beaten this team three times. Any team with bullying corners and a respectable line appears to be a problem.

Commonly seen against Tennessee
1. Beat up the WR's and and have the line control the QB
2. Try to control the clock and not allow anything deep
3. Shootout

I have only seen number one beat Tennessee since the "on-switch" was hit.
Wow!

Let me add to your concern. We're going to be paying tribute to the '98 national championship team on Saturday. We don't seem to play our best in these "tribute" games. Plus, any time I see Fulmer on the field, my stomach feels a bit sour.

The superstitious nonsense

You are close, but it’s more about corner’s getting off blocks to defend the screen game IMO

Early lines are from 11 to 13.

How is this possible?
Just like Vegas new about the weed and Mays not playing caused the line to keep shrinking before FL game .. they know about Jr’s O line issues . We just have to execute late shifts and stunts to confuse their replacements and keep QB from going beyond 1 route option .. Execute and we will do well. Will also take pressure off corners

We must stay hydrated at rowdy away games. So, when we pee down our leg during the game it just looks like profuse sweating. Problem solved :/

Other than damage control with X. Legette, spying Rattler on passing downs is my biggest concern.

I think Jeremy Banks played the best game of his Vol career against Alabama, he did a great job spying Bryce Young. Rattler didn't rush for too many yards last year, but extended a lot of plays throwing from outside the pocket. It killed us not having Banks.

E. Herring, A. Carter, or J. Talendar. Who gets the primary spy assignment?
My money would be on Carter!
